教学设计及反思Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?Section A 1 (1a-1c)一、教材分析本教材是人教版教材八年级英语第五单元,本单元以“Do you want to watch a game show?”为话题展开教学活动,首先让学生学会各种电视节目的英文表达,再让学生学会怎样用英语表达对不同电视节目以及事物的喜、恶。

通过用学生们熟悉的电视节目提高学生们学习兴趣,在通过简单的口语练习,使学生积极参与,合作,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

本单元这一课时,安排了关于部分电视节目类型的单词,以及简单的表述喜、恶的句子,为以后能正确表达自己的情感作出了准备。

二、教学目标知识目标学会soap opera, sitcom, talk show, sports show , game show ,don’t mind , can’t stand等新词汇和句型“What do you think of…?”能力目标①学会陈述自己的看法和意见。

②学会谈论自己的喜好。

情感目标学会客观地评价事物;正确表达自己的意见三、教学重、难点学习及掌握表达喜好和电视节目类型的词汇和基本句型。

正确运用What do you think of …? 及I like/love/don’t like/can’t stand…等句型结构来表达对客观事物的评价。

四、学法、教法以学生的发展为本,以学生为中心,采用多样化的学习方式,让学生自主学习,研究学习,探究学习,合作学习。

(1)询问对某人或某事的看法、态度,可以用这个句型:
What+助动词+某人+think of+某事(某人)?
A. What do you think of this film? 你认为这部影片怎么样?
B. What does your father think of your new job? 你爸爸认为你的新工作如何?
C. What do you think of Tom? 你认为汤姆这个人怎么样?
回答时可以根据自己的看法来作出评价或转述别人的看法。
A. It’s great! 太棒了!
B. He doesn’t mind. 他不在意。
C. He is friendly. 他很友好。


(2)soap opera 肥皂剧
肥皂剧最早是指本世纪30年代美国无线电广播中播放的一种长篇广播连续剧。由于当
时的赞助商主要是日用清洁剂厂商,期间播的广告主要也是肥皂广告,“肥皂剧”的称呼
便由此产生。现在人们也用来指一些剧情比较拖沓、冗长的电视连续剧。
(3)stand
①stand v. 站,站立
e.g. Stand up! 起立!
Stand under the tree. It’s cool there. 站在树下吧,那儿凉爽。
②v. 忍受,忍耐(与bear, put up with同义)
e.g. I have stood 3 hours. I can’t stand it. 我已经站了三个小时了,我受不
了。
Mary couldn’t stand the hot weather. 玛丽无法忍受这炎热的天气。
2. I don’t mind them. 我不介意他们。
mind的用法
(1)n. 想法,看法,意见
e.g. make up one’s mind 下定决心,拿定主意
(2)v. 介意,反对(其后接名词或v-ing形式或从句作宾语,常用于疑问句、否定
句、条件句中。)
e.g. Do you mind if I smoke here? 我如果在这里抽烟你介意吗?
He doesn’t mind hard work. 他不介意艰辛的工作。
Do you mind opening the window? 你介意把窗户打开吗?
3. love与like
love与like都有“喜爱、喜欢”的意思,在用法上其后都可以接名词,不定式和v-ing,
但love从意味上比like要强一些。
e.g. I love China. 我热爱中国。
I like sports. 我喜欢运动。


另一个单词enjoy也有“喜爱、喜欢”的意思,但它只能接名词和v-ing,不能接不定
式。
e.g. She enjoys light music. (She enjoy listening to light music.) 她喜欢
听轻音乐。
enjoy oneself 玩得愉快=have a good time
e.g. Did you enjoy yourself at the party? 你在晚会上玩得开心吗?
