I’m most interested in the NBA,which stands for the National Basketball Association in the world.It's probably the most renowned sports organization in the world.
As far as I know,currently the NBA is made up of 30 teams from america and canada. This organization was founded in new york like 60 years ago. At first, things were king of tough,but these days,it’s one of the most influencial sports organization in the world..
There are tons of baskrtball buffs in china and that’s why NBAhas such a huge following here. Some games are even played in china and the tickets always sell out in like 20 minutes.
I don’t know why but sometimes in china,live broadcasts of the regular season or playoffs stop bing aired all of a sudden. The TV station just doesn’t give us any explanation. And that really bothers me. Well,it’s good we still have the internet.
My favourite basketball players are yaoming and kobe bryant. They are really cool. I admire them not just for their successes,but also for their spirit, you know, their sportsmanship. They have been named MVPmany times,which make them real legends in my eyes.
The NBA is a legend,too. No doubt about it. Coz it’s so successful in terms of making money. And more importantly,it’s so entertaining. I hope more players will come over to china and show us their amazing basketball tricks.

Let me talk about a fitness club. It’s next to my place. Last month, I felt really out of shape. A friend of mine told me some exercise would get me back in shape. So I went to this fitness club. The club was open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. it offered a variety of membership types with different rates to meet different needs. They also had a three-day guest pass for first timers. I’d never been to a gym before so they recommand their “two-week membership plan”. I could try the classes and facilities there for two weeks.
It turned out that this club was pretty cool. It had lots jof good machines like the treadmills,bikes and steppers. All the equipment was brand-new. This club also offered pilates and yoga classes so the members could tone up without building up too many muscles. And now, since I’ve joined the club, I can use the swimming pool for free.
When I first started working out there,my body hurt all over. But then I got used to the exercise and now I’m feeling pretty good. And sometimes I ask the trainers for some advice. They are real experts and they show me a lot of new exercises. And on top of that, they also advise me on my diet and my fitness plan.
My one-year membership cost me 1,500 renminbi,kind of pricey,right? But I’m sure I’m getting my money’s worth…

Faye wang is my idol. She was born and grew up in beijing. Her father took her to hongkong when she was 18.
At first, faye went to modeling classes there coz she looked gorgeous: tall,slim and had sparkling eyes. But she soon lost interest in modeling. Faye enjoyed humming tunes because it was relaxing.
A songwriter was so impressed by her voice and he encouraged her to sign a record contract. She released her first album at the age of 19. then, a very important album was produced. Several songs in this album became big hits and won awards for her. So far practically all her albums have been really well-liked.
Unlike other singers in hongkong, faye ignores the press. And that gives her some bad girl appeal,which I find reaaaaally attractive.
Faye is not only a talented singer but also a great actress. A couple of years ago, she even won a best-actress award.
I like her so much coz she’s multi-talented. And also, I adore her “rebel” image. She never treats the press well but the press has to respect her for her incredible talent…

Her straight black hair makes her so different from the blonde actresses. I think she really knows what she looks good in and wears clothing with so much confidence. For instance,she often wears slim pants to accentuate her long legs.

He was pretty average in terms of appearance,except that his sparkling eyes showed this must be a super intelligent gentlemen
As far as I know, he joined a work study program to france when he was young and learned a lot of new ideas about social development. Then he returned to china and became a military leader. Deng had his own ideas about education and economy, which was vastly different from most of other leaders, back then. Some of his ideas even landed him in jail. But he never gave up and he never stopped learning throughout the years.
Deng rose back to power again in the late 1970s. from then on, he used his knowledge and experience to finally become the most powerful man in china. His great thinking was obvious when he said,“to get rich is glorious”,which was, at that time,so different from all the other

Let me talk about my favourite teacher-my mother. She’s a high school teacher, you know, a reaaally good one. Her classes are always well-liked and she’s great at sharing knowledge with her students.

雅思口语素材汇总之端午节 雅思口语素材:Dragon Boat Festival(端午节) Qu Yuan The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. For thousands of years, the festival has been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous rice(糯米)wrapped to form a pyramid using bamboo or reed leaves) and racing dragon boats. The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern provinces where there are many rivers and lakes. This regatta(赛舟会)commemorates the death of Qu Yuan , an honest minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river. Qu was a minister of the State of Chu situated in present-day Hunan and Hubei provinces, during the Warring States Period (475-221BC)(战国时期). He was upright, loyal and highly esteemed for his wise counsel that brought peace and prosperity to the state. However, when a dishonest and corrupt prince vilified Qu, he was disgraced and dismissed from office. Realizing that the country was now in the hands of evil and corrupt officials, Qu grabbed a large stone and leapt into the Miluo River on the fifth day of the fifth month. Nearby fishermen rushed over to try and save him but were unable to even recover his body. Thereafter, the state declined and was eventually conquered by the State of Qin. The people of Chu who mourned the death of Qu threw rice into the river to feed his ghost every year on the fifth day of the fifth month. But one year, the spirit of Qu appeared and told the mourners that a huge reptile(爬行动物)in the river had stolen the rice. The spirit then advised them to wrap the rice in silk and bind it with five different-colored threads before tossing it into the river. During the Duanwu Festival, a glutinous rice pudding called zong zi is eaten to symbolize the rice offerings to Qu. Last year I went to Yunnan with my family and it was really a trip that took longer than I expected. It took longer than I expected due to several reasons. The first one was because of massive delays. For one thing, the airplane delays for more than 8 hours for no reason which was the most ridiculous one and annoyed me a lot. I remembered I read an entire book and played video games but still can’t kill the time. For another, when I arrived at the destination, the hotel was still not ready for us to check in and we wasted another 2 hours. The second reason was travelling in Yunnan was totally different from what I had expected. I thought Yunnan was a quiet city with marvelous natural sceneries but when I arrived there I was shocked by the huge number of tourists. No matter where I went I had to take a deep breath. I don’t feel natural and I can’t focus here. Anyway, it was really an awful trip. If I could choose again I would rather stay at home.
