【知识梳理】

数词：表示数量或顺序的词叫做数词。数词分为两大类，即基数词和序数词。基数词表示数量，如:one,two,three,four……;序数词表示顺序，如:first,second,third, fourth……序数词前一般要加the。

考点一：基数词和序数词

[考点透析]数词是表示数目和顺序的词。数词又分为基数词和序数词两类。基数词表示数目，序数词表示顺序。

[温馨提示]1、序数词作定语时前面一般要加定冠词the。但是其前若有this，that，my等限定词修饰时，则不加the。

2、表示年、月、日时，年用基数词，日用序数词。如：July1st，1949读作July the first，nineteen forty-nine.
