今天是一堂高三的阅读课,但这堂课的教学目标不仅仅是阅读,而是通过阅读,激活学生已有的语言知识,在阅读中,既培养了学生的skiming,scanning and guessing the meaning of the words等阅读技能,也达到复习、运用语言知识的目的,当然在阅读的同时,也注重学生情感能力的培养,使他们通过阅读,增强自信心,勇敢面对学习中的挫折。

高中英语课程目标中指出“要培养学生的综合语言运用能力。”而综合语言运用能力的形成是建立在语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养整合发展的基础之上的。

选择这个阅读材料是因为考虑到高三学生常常为考试而担心,而我所任教的这个班是文科班,所以大部分都是女同学,这一点大家一定注意到了,女孩子的胆子比较小,也更容易为考试而紧张,现在他们又即将面临联考,所以想通过这个方式帮助学生进行心理方面的疏导,学会调节自己,树立信心,坦然面对学习及生活中的一次次的考验。

高三学生在前一段时间复习的基础上,已经拥有了一定的词汇量,但英语词汇的掌握并不等于学好了英语,关键在与如何运用。而词汇量的获得也必须通过大量的阅读才能体现出来。因此,我认为阅读的重要性已不容置疑,在阅读中,老师可以引导和帮助学生认识掌握英语语言的特点和习惯,把学生接受、理解、运用语言知识的过程与学习掌握阅读内容紧密结合起来。这样,才能帮助学生做到学得生动活泼,运用准确自如,学生听、说、读和写的能力就一定会得到不同程度的提高。

对这个教材的处理,我主要先通过图片,进行brainstorm,激活主题,引发学生思考,然后通过阅读激活学生的已有的相关字、词、句等语言知识,通过让学生完成一系列的任务,把知识和和技能融为一体,在完成任务的过程中自然地使用所学的语言,并在这些过程中巩固这些语言知识,以达到帮助学生运用这些语言知识的目的。这堂课我主要是通过以下一些环节来达到这个教学目标的。通过图片和提问引出今天的话题---考试焦虑症(test anxiety),然后通过第一篇材料的阅读,初步了解test anxiety, 同时在阅读的活动中,培养学生的阅读技能,并列出相关的一些词语,为后面的语言的运用做好铺垫。随后的第二篇阅读,我采用了分段阅读的方式,以引导学生通过阅读,寻找相关信息,学会归纳主旨大意,并能运用文章中的相应的词语来完成句子。本来有一个环节,想通过让学生进行当堂测试,了解学生是否有考试焦虑症状的状况,为帮助学生更好地学会如何克服考试焦虑,但试讲后考虑到时间关系,现在安排留给学生课后自己测试,可以让学生利用课堂所学的内容进行自我减压。最后的一个环节的设计是为了使学生通过刚才的阅读及相关句子的操练,进行归纳,让学生进行段落操练,以达到回顾、复习整堂课的目的。

当然,整堂课的最终目的是通过阅读,激活主题及相关的语言知识,使学生在完成任务的同时,复习、巩固语言知识,并注重语言知识的运用,同时帮助指导学生的阅读技巧,学会归纳文章的要点,理出文章的思路,培养学生的观察能力,思维能力和语言运用能力。

实际上,高三英语学习不只是通过题海战术再现知识的简单过程,而是需要教师通过教学和辅导的每个环节帮助全体学生提高语言运用能力的过程。因此,在课堂上教师要突出”以学生为主体”的思想,教师的作用是负责组织、引导、帮助学生,让学生经历获取知识的过程,关注学生各种能力的发展,促进其知识与技能、过程与方法、态度与价值观的全面发展,建立学生自主探索、合作学习的

课堂模式,把追求学习结果转向追求学习过程,真正把学生当成获取知识发展自我的主人。

Now let me introduce it in detail. The teaching goal of this period is to enable Ss to catch the main idea by fast reading. Then to find out the detailed information through careful reading. The third is to express themselves with the language learned in class. The goal of learning ability is to develop Ss basic skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
