I earn estly hope to lead a healthy and prosperous life in

the future. Judg ing from my aptitude in cli nati on and personality streaks,my ideal life will be that of a scientist, researching, lecturing, and writing books. As I am from a

farmi ng family, I particularly enjoy being close to earth.

If I can afford to live a pastoral life in the coun tryside, I will feel most blessed. As far as social life is concern ed, simplicity is what I intend to pursue,so I really don& #39;t n eed too many frien ds. All these will be mere talk if I am idle now. To atta in my goal, I must make a point of tra ining my body and mind.

This is a highly competitive society in which every one is eager to come out on top. That is not only a competiti on of physical strength and mental power,but a marathon of

I want to be a famous doctor, helpi ng the sick and sav ing their lives. Why has my dream cha nged? Well, at the age of 11 I was ill, badly ill. I was told that I had can cer. I had to leave both my school and my friends and go to the hospital. Every day I suf-fered the troubles caused by this ill ness.

I also saw some people who were suffer ing and dying of

ill-nesses. I made up my mind to become a doctor, so that I

can help the sick people and cure them of their diseases. Chi na is a develop-i ng coun try. She n eeds good medic ine and good doctors, especially in the coun tryside and Ion ely villages.

I want to try my best to help the poor sick people of our
