阅读后的拓展部分，首先组织学生进行了小组自主朗读，因为考虑到上课时间，没有能对学生的朗读进行相对细致到位的指导，这对于新的语篇教学还是有所欠缺的。然后开展了“To make dreams come true, what should they do?”组织学生小组讨论，给孩子们提出一些建议，这是对文本的一个巩固，也是谈论梦想话题的继续推进，即：How to make dreams come true?最后从文本走向自己，引导学生设计自己的职业梦想。这个话题对于六年级即将毕业的学生来说，是很有实际意义的，所以学生也是有话可说，有话想说。在课结束前，我带着孩子们一起唱起了主题歌曲:Dream it possible，同时，组织孩子们把自己设计的dream card放进我们班孩子自己制作的Class dream box中。看的出来，孩子们挺投入，也挺感动的。我也希望通过这样的活动鼓励孩子们心怀梦想并付诸努力，同时也提升了本单元的主题意义。
