高二英语Module7 Unit5 Travelling Abroad 词汇学习教学案例设计一、教材分析目前,随着基础教育改革的推进和新课标的实施根据,词汇教学取得了一定的进步,但是当中仍然面临着以下的一些困难和问题:根据《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》(以下简称《课标》)的要求,高中生在毕业时要掌握3300个左右的单词和400—500个习惯用语或固定搭配。
翻开新课标的课本,会发现每篇课文的新词量大。
以模块7第5单元为例,整个单元新词量68个,要求掌握的达到49个,其中课文Reading 中含新词(包括短语)23个。
但是,由于高中英语教学内容多,除了词汇教学外,语法知识讲解、文化意识渗透、阅读技能和听说技能的培养等都覆盖其中,因此词汇教学存在着课时有限的问题。
教师需要在有限的教学时间内,指导学生进行自主高效的词汇学习。
本课就是该教学实验中的其中一个课例。
教学内容是人教版高中英语模块七第五单元Travelling Abroad中的第一篇阅读课文Keep it up, Xie Lei。
本课是这篇课文的第二课时。
在第一课时,教师已经指导学生对文章主题、内容等进行阅读理解和讨论了。
因此,本课的重点是文章的词汇和语言点的教学。
二、学生情况分析学生来自一个理科普通班,学生的英语水平,特别是口语表达能力存在差异。
在将电子辞典引入课堂教学后,经过一两个星期的使用,大部分学生已经能够理解教师的教学意图并基本适应“教师指导+自主学习”的英语教学模式。
当然,依旧有一小部分学生较为依赖教师直接讲授词汇的方式。
三、教学目标1.语言知识:锁定课文中14个左右的重难点单词,让学生在整体把握课文内容的基础上,能够运用电子辞典熟悉单词意思、用法和词汇搭配等。
2.语言技能:引导学生利用电子辞典建立相关话题词汇库,指导学生建立词汇学习策略,如主动查询新词、话题词汇归纳、新旧知识联系、词汇辨析等。
3.情感与价值观:增强学生对英语的学习兴趣,培养学生自主学习与小组合作的意识。

在繁重的学习压力之下,同学们一定非常喜欢旅游。
所以,该话题让学生们兴趣得到了提升,分享他们喜欢旅游的国家、旅游的目的地、旅游的目的等从而达到热身的目的.Pre—reading 部分提出了两个问题:1.学生是否喜欢旅游?学生喜欢的旅游目的地?2。
在国外学习的优势和劣势是什么?这一部分提供了多幅照片帮助同学们猜想,这样就把“热身”部分的问题具体化了。
同学会自然结合自己的所见所闻,发表观点,为阅读正文打下了基础。
Reading 部分描写了中国姑娘谢蕾出国上学的经历,具体写了她出国前的不安,到了国外后的不适应,以及生活上的不习惯和学习方法及思维方式的冲突。
但经过她的努力,她克服了这一切,并开始了崭新的生活。
谢蕾的经历会给同学们带来挑战新生活的信心,感受到外国文化及人文气息。
学情分析:高中学生对世界充满着好奇心,乐于接受新鲜事物,对于出国旅游和留学这样的话题非常感兴趣。
而且这篇文章是中国大学生的亲身经历,学生学起来会更加容易产生共鸣.在语言技能方面,该篇文章还较长,因此训练学生的翻译能力和长难句处理的能力就显得非常重要,这也是高中英语教学的重头戏。

整体设计思路 1. 创设 “悦读”的环境。在挖掘现有教学资源的基础上,补充有益的课外阅读,

的输入量,从而达到培养并提高学生多种阅读技能的目标。
2. 多层次多方面理解文章。第一次阅读主要目的是验证预测内容,完成对主
人公的信息搜集。第二次细节阅读,根据题目第一个层次,培养学生如何
从文本中找细节,找线索,完成信息的搜集和整理。第三次阅读,根据题
目第二个层次,再次让学生深入文章,寻找相关信息,侧重深层推理能力
的培养。
