前三个单元学完了，Recycle 1的本课时一篇《seasons 》文章写得很美，学生也用心体会了其中的美景。下面的练习第二题是写写自己城市的四季，配套练习册的练习题也是写出”my favourie season”,要求不少于50个单词。看到这个要求，很多同学感觉很难，50个词对他们来说太多了。但是，欣赏完这几篇文章，大部分学生心里就有数了。首先我们以spring 为例进行描述。从天气、颜色、穿着、饮食和干什么等方面进行描述。每一个方面，都请同学站起来大声描述，就组成了一小篇文章：I like spring best. We provide the robot with seeing detectors to keep it away from danger. It is powered entirely by the sun. Should we program the robot to be equally active at all times? No. The robot would be using up energy at a time when it was not receiving any. So we would probably program it to cease its activity at night and to wake up at dawn the next morning. According to the evolutionary theory of sleep, evolution equipped us with a regular pattern of sleeping and waking for the same reason. The theory does not deny that sleep provides some important restorative functions. It merely says that evolution has programmed us to perform those functions at a time when activity would be inefficient and possibly dangerous.
