这是第六单元第二话题的第一课时和第二课时，通过介绍my home，导入新知识点。
引导学生认识各种房屋建筑名称，并学会如何阅读房屋租赁广告。
让学生学习和小区邻居相处的方式及对话。
本课我从学生实际出发，对教材进行了必要的调整和整合，要求学生能文中相关句型灵活运用于日常对话中去。
二．学情分析该班学生有一定的英语基础，尤其初一上学期我进行了大量的词汇，语篇，文化方面的拓展，使得学生有较为丰富的英语知识。
也具备一定的阅读技巧和口语表达能力，对英语学习有浓厚的兴趣，能在老师的指导下积极主动地阅读写作以及运用相关句型会话。
三．教学目标知识目标：1. 能正确朗读出单词表中黑体单词及短语：townhouse，farmhouse，等。
2. 能正确拼读并运用单词: country，month，neighbor,等黑体单词。
3. 能正确、熟练地应用句式What kind of home do you live in ? Is there…? 谈论房屋类型及邻里互助交往。
能力目标：1. 能听懂本课文本材料2. 能正确本课相关句型，与他人谈论租房，邻居相处的方式及对话情感目标：通过对课文的学习，要求学生爱家，爱社区，正确处理邻里关系，乐于助人。
四．教学重难点教学重点：1. 掌握如何用英语谈论房屋类型和租房，与邻居日常沟通。
.教学难点：用英语在不同情景下与邻居交流。
这一部分涉及的句子较多，需要分层次变方法让学生们记忆并接受。

本课的主要活动是1a和2a。
