1.1 INTRODUCTION中的三项内容都围绕Philip Pullman的小说His Dark Materials展开。
第一项内容简介Philip Pullman的His Dark Materials,借此引出话题a fantasy story;第二项内容学习短文中的生词和短语;第三项内容对Philip Pullman的His Dark Materials以及其它fantasy stories进行深入讨论。
1.2 READING AND VOCABULARY 是一篇题为The Cat That Vanished的fantasy story。
故事选自Philip Pullman的His Dark Materials。
通过阅读此短文,学生可以进一步理解fantasy story的含义。
这一部分还设置了五个活动,其中第一个活动和第四个活动考查学生对短文的理解程度;第二、三和第五个活动考查学生对文中词句的掌握和理解。
1.3 GRAMMAR 分两部分。
分别涉及-ing形式做状语的语法学习及各种练习。
既结合课文内容,又考虑语法结构;既有单一的句子填空,又有复杂的篇章结构填空。
1.4 SPEAKING 分两部分:第一部分是READING部分的延伸。
这一部分要求学生分组讲述The Cat That Vanished这个小故事并以try to guess what happens next的任务形式要求学生接续故事。
第二部分是LISTENING 部分的延伸。

“课堂教学特色案例〞教学设计高二英语课堂教学设计案例〔高二选修六Unit2 Poems 第一课时 Warming up & Reading〕一、整体设计思路、指导依据说明英语教学是一种动态教学或活动教学,教学过程是交际活动过程。
只有从组织教学活动入手,大量地进展语言实践,使英语课堂交际化,才能有效地培养学生运用英语进展交际能力。
新课标提出:“外国语是学习文化科学知识,获取世界各方面信息与进展国际交往重要工具。
〞与“……开展听、说、读、写根本技能,提高初步运用英语进展交际能力,……〞。
结合本年段国家级子课题“高中英语阅读理解策略形成性评价〞实施与本班学生实际,对教材进展了操作性较强处理。
二、教学背景分析〔一〕教学内容分析:本单元以Poems为话题,从学生初次接触英文诗歌,扩展到英文诗歌创作动机、有关诗歌一些根本知识〔包括诗歌种类、风格〕等。
旨在通过本单元学习,使学生在初步了解与掌握英文诗歌这一文学形式根本常识根底上,进展简单诗歌创作。
本课时是人教版高二英语选修六Unit 2第一课时。
在这一课时里,我将Warming up, Pre-reading与Reading局部整合成了一篇阅读课。
通过这一课时学习,学生从回忆所学中文诗歌到说出自己最喜欢中文诗歌并说明理由;然后通过快速阅读Reading局部了解几种形式简单英语诗歌,从而激发他们诗歌创作热情!〔二〕学生情况分析:本节课教学对象是高二学生,他们很理解中文诗歌种类、风格、特色,对诗歌学习充满了兴趣,想知道中英文诗歌是否一样?他们具有丰富想象力与活泼思维,具有一定分析与解决问题能力。
虽说大局部学生根底知识比拟薄弱,英语交际能力与思维能力不好,但他们都渴望得到教师与同学理解与认可,有些学生根底较好,认知能力与表现能力较好,因此,要设计出符合他们认知范围与感兴趣教案,因材施教,让全班学生都投入到教学中来。

学情分析
本课授课对象为高二文科学生,就读于辽宁省大连市市内一般高中,学生英语词汇基础和口笔头表达基础均为中等。授课班级为小班型,人数30人,22名女生、8名男生,分为5个学习小组。班级女生占比人数较多,女生比较羞涩和内向,课堂学习氛围的调动,需要教师不断推陈出新,变换方法,搭建合适的“脚手架”,这增加了教学设计的难度。
本课例选自顺序选修6第6模块,本单元的中心话题是“战争与和平”,具体包括诺曼底登陆、联合国维和部队情况、反战电影赏析、中外名人对战争的观点等。通过本单元的教学,旨在帮助学生说出与“战争与和平”相关的词汇、短语;口头介绍第二次世界大战和“D日登陆”的情况;陈述自己对于战争的看法和观点,引领学生认同“维护人类正义,珍爱世界和平”的价值观念。

本课例作为参评课例之一,是一节时长45分钟的写作课,由辽宁省大连市第二中学苏静老师执教。考虑到“反对战争与珍爱和平”这一话题是当今和未来世界发展的永恒主题,也是高中学生世界观、人生观、价值观形成关键期极为重要的成长命题之一,故选择这一话题设计教学。
教材分析
外研版高中英语教材分为必修(1-5册)和顺序选修(6-11册)两部分。顺序选修部分各模块话题,由“个人生活、校园学习、社区融入”等为学生熟悉的话题范畴,向“人际交往、经典文学、艺术科技、人类与社会发展”等较为高端和复杂的领域延伸,并在教学内容、语言技能、跨文化意识等方面提出更高的要求。
