一 教材分析
1.教材的地位与作用
本单元以伟人为话题展开，谈论伟人及其生活。让学生能够了解生命的意义,做一个对社会有贡献的人。本课是第二单元第五课时，主要是以白求恩的工作生活为话题，学习本课对学生的学习和生活具有很深的启发教育意义。
2.教学目标
1）.知识目标：掌握本课的单词短语graduate,Toronto,remain,anti-,decision,aid,worst,condition,operate,government,medical;短语T.B.,remain
in use,be well known for…,Anti-Japanese War,make a
decision,first aid,day after day,set up。
掌握重点句型:
(1).Norman Bethune is well known for helping the
Chinese people in the Anti-Japanese War.
(2).In 1938,he made a decision to go to northern China
because he knew many people were dying in the war.
(3).To remember him,the government set up Bethune
Medical School and Bethune International Peace

1. Analysis of the Students
The students of Grade 9 have mastered certain vocabularies，expressions and structures. They
also have the abilities of self-teaching and working in groups. Most of them are willing to express
their opinions in English.
2. Analysis of Teaching Content
Lesson 8 is the second lesson in Unit 2, Book 5.This unit focus on the subject great people.
Students cares about the subject because it is close to everyone. Lesson 8 mainly talks about Albert
Einstein’s lifetime, meanwhile taught the students to love life, work hard and never give up!

一、说教材
九年级上册英语unit2Great people主要是围绕几个世界著名的伟人展开话题,
lesson11课谈论了白求恩的事迹, 并让学生知道了丹妮想打破什么样的世界记录,进一步熟悉比较级和最高级的用法, 并用来谈论生活中发生的事情
二, 说教学目标
1.能准确地发音和使用graduate，remain，anti，decision，aid，worst，condition，operate，government，medical等词汇。能够掌握重点句子句子。
2.能够运用before，after，as，that引导的复合句。
3.读懂有关名人的文章，明白文章主旨大意和掌握理解文章结构的技能。
4.能用before，after，as引导的时间状语从句和that引导的定语从句进行表达。
三,说教法
新课程标准规定，九年级学生要完成分级目标的五级标准，即有较明确的英语学习动机和积极主动的学习态度，能听懂教师有关熟悉话题的陈述，能就日常生活的各种话题与他人交换信息。依据课标和学生实际，采取如下教法。
1．重点解释
在教学中，对学生遇到的困难和模糊的地方进行解释，有效发展学生的综合语言运用能力和知识的准确性。
2．独立练习法
先让学生独立完成练习, 然后再讲解, 有利于学生熟练地掌握知识.
3．注重过程评价
在整个教学活动中，对学生的每一个进步都给予充分的肯定和表扬,培养,激发学生学习的积极性和自信心。
四, 说学法
以上我所采用的教法都是依据新课程标准英语课程的基本理念，有助于学生掌握如下学法
1．积极操练，重在口头
在课堂上，学生要积极参与教师设计的每个教学活动，要大胆开口，创造性地说自己想说的话。课后和其他同学及时进行英语交流，自己做相应练习。只有这样，才能将书本知识变成自己的知识和语言能力。

【教材分析】
To China, with Love是冀教版九年级第五册第二单元第11课，这课主要介绍加拿大共产党员白求恩大夫如何帮助中国的抗日战争的。在整个八路军医务系统中，他医术高明，以手术台为阵地，以救死扶伤为责任，对技术精益求精，尽职尽责，最后牺牲在手术台上。以国际公产主义精神感动了全中国，给我国人民留下了永不磨灭的印象。
本课主要围绕一般过去时及被动语态这一语法项目而自然引出的一些常用的短语。一般过去时及其被动语态是要求九年级学生在八年级基础上全面、系统掌握的重要语法，学生在原有的基础上进一步复习一般过去时及被动语态，这对其它时态的被动语态的掌握起着巩固和提高的作用。为今后复习其它时态的被动语态打下坚实基础，做好铺垫，所以本课书的内容在整个教材中起着承前启后的纽带作用。
【学情分析】
1、通过前面的学习，学生已经基本上掌握了一般过去时和被动语态这些基本语法，本课是对前面语法的复习和巩固。例如：本课的be born是对一般过去时及被动语态的集中演练，例如：When were you born?
2、学生对die这个词的几种词型掌握不透，经常混淆，通过本课的学习，进行有针对性的训练。
【教学目的】
学习新短语，并引出学过的旧短语，学会用英语描述名人及自己的朋友，寓德育于教学之中，增强学生的爱国主义精神。
