Study skills学习目标:学习掌握浏览(skimming)的方法,帮助我们提高阅读理解的能力和技巧。

学习过程:一.什么是skimming?Skimming 即浏览。

就是快速阅读文本以获得主要的内容,因为有时候我们如果把每篇文章都逐字逐句的看一遍,翻译一遍。

这样会浪费大量的时间,影响我们做题的速度和效率。

这时候就需要我们运用Skimmin的方法来快速得到我们想要的内容,在有限的时间里大大提高做题的效率。

二.我们经常阅读报纸、杂志、旅游指南等文章或者我们在考试中做阅读理解题目时会运用到skimming的方法。

浏览时,注意:读文章的题目、主要的标题、第一段和最后一段、每一段的第一句话。

这样会给你带来有关这篇短文的一个全面的认识,帮助我们快速找到我们需要的知识点,完成题目。

三.仔细阅读课本提供的短文,按照Skimming 的方法,回答下面问题;1. What is the article about?2. Is it true that some aspects of your personality are formed by nature?3. What can change your personality ?四、重点提示:1. Personality includes your thoughts,feelings and behaviours.2. There are three girls in our group, including Mary.这里的“include, including”都有包括,包含的意思。

但是include是动词,而including是介词,注意观察它们在句子中的位置。
