本单元围绕“Asking for information politely”这一话题展开教学活动,帮助学生学会用“Could you please …”礼貌的提问,注意和where ,how 和if引导的间接疑问句。
本单元的话题跟学生的学生生活有密切联系,学生很感兴趣,也容易理解。
通过对一些学习话题的讨论,让学生学会明白英语学习的重要性,并能够根据所学知识进行交流和学习,学会分析各种场所的优缺点。
从而有效地提高英语成绩。

一.说教材1.本单元的主要语言功能是礼貌地请求别人做某事和向他人请求允许做某事,语法项目是Could you please do…?和Could I do …?整单元分四课时完成。
本节课是本单元的SECTION A部分的第一课时。
从教材的整合来说它是Can you do…?(表请求)和Can I do …?(请求许可)的延续,只是表达更委婉,更有礼貌。
从本单元来说,它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本单元知识扩展和综合语言运用奠定坚实的基础。
