教材内容分析：本节课的教学内容选自人教版《小学英语(新版PEP)》四年级下册Unit 3 Weather Part B read and write.本节课学习的主题是:能够阅读英文的明信片并回答问题，Read and write 分为读，写两部分：第一部分要求学生阅读Jhon 父亲写给他的一封明信片后回答问题；第二部分为有意义的句子书写活动，分两个步骤：第一步为看图，根据图片回答问题。
第二步为个性化的书写活动，教师先引导学生关注标点符号在四线三格中的书写规则，然后引导学生根据真实生活中的天气情况仿写句子。
学情分析：四年级三班,共有43个学生,班里男生多,平时上课气氛比较活跃。
四年级学生已经学习了三年的英语,普遍有一定的基础,从上学期的情况上来看,学生的英语学习掌握较好,主要表现为学习成绩层次上很均匀,英语兴趣很高,口语朗读较为扎实,这个班中后进生人数居多,经过一段时间的努力,总体情况有所进步。
