5B Module 1 Unit 2 Watch it grow!单元主题本单元主题为Watch it grow！观察成长！模块主题是using my five senses, 这个单元是以eyes这个感官来认识动物、昆虫的生长过程，从中学习一般过去时。
单元任务分析在这个单元中要求学生能认识由was, were构成的一般过去时，并能用一般过去时描述人物、物体原有的状态。
要求学生掌握：主要词汇：was, were, caterpillar, puppy, silkworm, cocoon, lay, silk, moth, born, turtle, 复习egg(两种中文)，butterfly, chick, chicken（两种中文）, duckling, duck, catch，grow, first, next, then, finally.主要句型：学习It was…Now it is…；…were… Now they are…句型。
本单元从昆虫、动物的生长中，让学生学习一般过去时，了解was, were的用法，同时又在学习一般过去时be动词句式中，让学生感受昆虫、动物的生长过程，激发学生对自然生命的认识与热爱。
其中以蝴蝶，蚕，青蛙的生长过程为主。
旧知复习：复习first, next, then, finally和一般现在时，让学生运用这四个单词结合一般过去时，一般现在时介绍昆虫、动物的生长过程。
