二、Key sentences
1. It can lay eggs. 它会下金蛋。 (1) 情态动词 can 定义：情态动词有一定的词义，表示说话人的语气或情态。情态动词只能和动词原形一起构成谓语。 情态动词没有人称和数的变化。 基本结构：主语+can+动词原形+其他 在 can 句型中，把肯定句变成否定句，只要在 can 后面加否定词 not 就可以了。还可以把 cannot 缩写成 can't。 【例句】 I can see the moon in the sky.我能看见天空中的月亮。 变成否定句：I can’t see the moon in the sky.我看不见天空中的月亮。

An entrance is a way in. 批注：有学生总是混淆两个单词的意思，可让学生自己观察校区的指示牌,有助于他们记忆。此外，还要提醒他们一个
入口用不定冠词 an。
