We went sledding down some huge hills, had an epic snowball fight (which I won, of course), drank lots of hot chocolate, and built a maze of snow tunnels in the backyard. Whenever Dad had to go to work, I played videogames or read books. I never wanted the break to end!But the best part came about halfway through vacation. On a Friday night, Dad surprised me by saying we were going on a trip first thing the next morning! I could barely sleep from excitement and anticipation. Where were we going?Bright and early, we hopped in the car with our suitcases packed. After driving for a few hours, I realized we had arrived in the mountains! We pulled up to a huge wooden lodge surrounded by massive snow-capped peaks. This was going to be an adventure!Dad had booked us a cozy cabin for a couple nights. As soon as we were settled in, we strapped on our skis and hit the slopes. Now, I'm just a kid and still pretty new to skiing. But Dad hasbeen doing it forever and is really good. He showed me some tips and we went down the bunny hills a few times to get warmed up.On one run, Dad went down ahead of me to watch my form. Halfway down the hill, I was going way too fast and couldn't stop or turn properly. I started wobbling and flailing all over the place. Before I knew what was happening, I had gone totally out of control and did a crazy jump, pulling off multiple spins and twists in the air! Dad's jaw dropped open as I came down hard, spraying snow everywhere in an epic wipeout.I sat up dazed and confused, not sure what just happened. Dad came skating over looking simultaneously horrified and impressed. "Dude! That was the sickest fall I've ever seen! Are you okay?" he asked with concern. Besides a few bruises, I was totally fine. And actually kind of proud of unintentionally throwing down such a rad move on the slopes.We spent the rest of that day on the bunny hills working on my technique. Then we rewarded ourselves by sitting in the hot tub back at the cabin. Ahhh, so relaxing! The next day we did a little more skiing before checking out. On the drive home, I slept like a bear after all that physical activity.When we finally returned, I had a few days of vacation left to simply laze around the house. Mom, Dad and I stayed in our pajamas all day watching movies, playing games, and eating junk food. I convinced them to build another epic snowman with me out front too. Whenever I'm an adult, I'll definitely do winter break exactly like that every year.Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Before I knew it, it was time to go back to school. 寒假英语作文：难忘的经历
Everyone has his or her experience that is unforgettable.
Mine happened when I was five, when my parents took me to the city zoo.
It was a hot summer so most animals were laying down to stay cool.
As we walked around, I saw a panther crouching by a hill in its enclosure.
All of a sudden, the panther leaped over the wall and jumped on the back of an old lady who was eating a hamburger.
The old lady let out a high pitched scream and fell down from her seat, sprawling on the cement pavement and passed out.
The panther did not attack the old lady, but picked the hamburger dropped by the lady.
After swallowing the hamburger, the panther started walking around the cafeteria with many visitors looking at it.
One kid saw the animal outside, and called excitedly, “Mommy! Look! I want to pat the Panther! ” The kid ran to
the animal.
By the time the panther was laying on the ground.
The little boy went to the panther and sat on its back.
The panther stood, with the boy on its back, started running towards the gate of the zoo and disappeared into the city in the dusk twilight.
I took a few pictures of the boy riding the panther, and this, was an experience I will never forget.
