教师引导学生阅读观察课文和教材中的相关资料、图片,结合自己的调查结果发表自己的看法,相互之间进行讨论和交流,在此基础上了解和掌握“我国、我县人口的现

〖提示〗1.气象学家的预言是有科学根据的。

例如,英国《自然》杂志和《观察家报》于2004年披露了美国国防部专家组的一份报告。

该报告预测:气候变化可能演变成全球公
害;未来20年气候变化将成为全球性灾难,如英国将会像西伯利亚那样寒冷,美国等主要粮食生产国将因遭遇严重干旱而出现粮食大幅减产。

又如,我国科学家2004年预言:未来大气的增温值将是20世纪的2至10倍;我国华北等地仍将保持继续变干旱的趋势;气候变暖严重影响全球的自然生态系统,农业可能是对气候变化最为敏感和脆弱的部门之一。

二、保护生物多样性
保护生物多样性:生物圈内所有的植物、动物和微生物,他们所拥有的全部基因以及各种各样的生态系统,共同构成了生物多样性。

〖讲述〗生物多样性包含了遗传的多样性,物种的多样性和生态系统的多样性。

我们说的保护生物的多样性就是指基因、物种和生态系统三个层次上的保护。

〖提示〗1.红树林的消失,使得潮间带多种鱼类、甲壳类、贝类以及多种水鸟因生态环境改变而无法存活和繁衍,并且影响附近多种生态系统的稳定性,最终使大量的物种无法生存和发展。

红树林能维持滨海湿地生态系统的稳定性,具有防风、抗海潮侵蚀海岸的作用。

因此,红树林的消失还将直接影响附近的农田、养殖场、森林和城市等多种生态系统的稳定性,这对于人们的生活和生产都会产生很大的影响。

2.可以通过现代生物技术,检测并获取水稻、小麦等栽培作物野生种细胞中人类所需要的某些优良基因(如抗旱基因、抗病基因等),然后利用基因工程技术,将这些优良基因导入到相应的栽培种的细胞中并使之表达。

袁隆平曾利用在海南岛发现的一株花粉败育的普通野生水稻(含有使花粉不育的基因),利用杂交技术成功地培育出高产的杂交水稻,从而掀起了水稻生产的“第二次绿色革命”。

后来,经过分子检测技术得知,野生水稻细胞中至少含有两个增产基因:其中的一个增产基因就能增产18%,两个增产基因则能增产36%。

3.这两例能够说明生物多样性具有潜在价值(红树、野生水稻等生物很可能还有目前人类尚不清楚的重要功能)、间接价值(红树林对海岸的防护作用)和直接价值(潮间带的鱼类、贝类、甲壳类等可供食用、药用和用做工业原料等)。

生物的种类繁多,人类对它们已经做过比较充分研究的只是极少数,大量野生生物的价值──生物多样性的潜在价值目前还不清楚;森林生态系统同农田生态系统相比,具有更加丰富的生物多样性,对自身的调节功能更强大,因而具有更好的稳定性,这属于生物多样性的间接价值;芦苇是一种重要的造纸原料,从金鸡纳树中可以提取治疗疟疾的药物──奎宁,这些都属于生物多样性的直接价值。

(二)保护生物多样性的措施
(1)就地保护(自然保护区)
就地保护是以建立国家或地方自然保护区的方式,对有价值的生态环境(如江河源头、滨海、滩涂、湿地、荒漠等自然生态系统的保护)、特殊自然景观(如森林、灌丛、草原、稀树草原、草甸等)、野生生物物种等,在具体地段划定范围保护起来,禁伐、禁牧、禁猎。

根据所处的地理位置和保护程度需要,有全封闭式保护,不准人入内;有半封闭式保护,有的地方外人可进入,有的地方外人不准进入。

(2)迁地保护
迁地保护就是通过人工的办法,将要保护的野生物种的部分种群迁移到适当的地方,以人工管理和繁殖,使其种群不仅可以繁衍延续,而且不断扩大。

(其主要方法是建立动物园、植物园与树木园或基因库。

目前,饲养在世界各地动物园和其他圈养设施中的脊椎动
物已超过3 000种,个体数量达5.4×105头。

全世界1 500余个植物园和树木园均承担着
保护植物种质资源的任务。


(3)离体保护
离体保护是指利用现代技术,尤其是低温技术,将生物体的一部分进行长期储存,以
保存物种的种质资源。

可持续发展:“在不牺牲未来几代人需要的情况下,满足我们这代人的需要”,它追求的是自然、经济、社会的持久而协调的发展。

1.潜在价值──某种不知名的昆虫。

间接价值──每个物种都维系着它们所在的生态系统的结构和功能。

直接价值──芦苇是一种重要的造纸原料;蝉蜕是一种动物性药物;鲁班通过观察某种叶片的叶缘得到启示,研制出了木工用的锯;海洋和森林等生态系统能陶冶情操、激发创作的灵感。

2.主要的困难是,一些发达国家(如美国、加拿大和欧盟国家等),拒绝核准或迟迟不予核准该议定书。

主要争议的问题是,这些国家担心影响本国经济的发展和其他国家可能不承担相应的责任。

例如,美国政府在2003年3月以“减少温室气体排放将会影响美国经济发展”和“发展中国家也应该承担减排和限排温室气体的义务”为由,宣布拒绝执行《京都议定书》。

建议世界各国特别是发展中国家联合起来,通过联合国大会和各国的政府以及民间组织等多种途径,呼吁每年大量产生温室气体的发达国家率先核准《京都议定书》(我国政府早在2002年9月就核准了《京都议定书》)。

老子认为“道”是一个浑然而成的、先于天地而存在的东西;“道”不靠外力而永久存在、循环运行且永不停息;“道”伸向遥远而最终又返回自然,可算是天地万物的根本。

老子把人提升为“宇宙中四个伟大的存在之一”,可与“道”、“天”、“地”并立,而惟独不认为有“神。
