译员当时与发⾔⼈沟通,询问“⼤家都很任性”是什么意思。
这虽然不过是⼀则“花絮”报道,但却提出了⼀个严肃的问题:如何在公共话语中使⽤⼤家听得懂的语⾔来作清晰的表述。
(2)在汉语的习惯⽤法⾥,“任性”是⼀个贬义词,说⼀个⼈任性,是指他由着性⼦,没有约束、放纵胡为、不负责任。
说党和政府以及⼈民群众在反腐问题上“任性”,会让⼈以为,这样的反腐是随意胡来,既⽆道德依据也⽆司法章程,想怎么搞就怎么搞。
难怪翻译会听得⼀头雾⽔....,不知道该怎么翻译了。
