2016年高考英语试卷分析该卷的编制十分注重英语科核心素养的渗透，体现了高考命题的立德树人的育人功能。
综合来看，两大特点十分突出：一是融入中外文化知识，助力跨文化交际能力发展。
试卷中涉及中外文化的内容十分丰富，如第2篇阅读材料涉及美国社会对老人是否与子女住在一起的看法，第4篇阅读材料介绍不同文化对沉默的涵义，语法填空题则采用了一位外国记者与我国国宝大熊猫的不解之缘的素材，这提示中学英语教学要注重学生文化品格的培养，夯实跨文化沟通能力。
二是倡导语篇能力发展，注重语言使用能力的考核。
将语法的考查提升到了语篇层次；阅读理解部分的“七选五”题型，比通常使用的“四选一”题型更加要求较高的篇章结构和逻辑推断的把握能力；完型填空和短文改错也都是要在通篇理解基础上才能较好完成。
可见，全国卷对英语词汇、语法等语言知识的考查多是注重其在语境中的运用能力。
答卷情况及明年备考建议部分考生死板地按照备考时形成的思维定势去判断，误以为某些知识点是必考的考点，答题时纠结于对这些考点的确认中，而不去寻找真正错误的该改的地方，从而导致了误判情况。
写作题对多数河北考生难度不大，只要审题对路，完成要点，语言运用丰富，表达准确连贯，是可以得到较高分数的，但要得到满分不太容易，且个别考生还可能会审题不够仔细，写偏了题，失去了不少分。
所以，这需要我们再备考的时候做到如下工作：一、把握规律、明确方向任何一次考试命题都是有一定规律可循的。
高考试题愈来愈趋向于能力考查，命题方式更是灵活多变，不但检验考生对知识点的掌握，更是对考生语言应用能力的全面考查。
在高三后期，考生应多做做近几年的高考题，从这些试题中学会找出每道试题的切入点，从中总结命题立意和命题手法，进一步明确学科特点，命题原则，从而确立后期备考复习必须遵循的依据、原则、思路、重点、难点。
教材和近年的高考试题是高三后期复习备考的重要依据，有了依据，我们在复习备考中就有方向、有目标。
二、储备知识、夯实基础1. 同学们在高三后期一定要认真研读考试说明，特别是对考纲词汇做到会读、会写、会译、会用。

根据课标对高考听力考查的要求，并结合今年听力试题的特点，我们给出以下建议：（1）平时多听多练，熟悉常考话题；
（2）选择信息点丰富，选项干扰强的材料；
（3）培养语言灵活转换的能力。
（4）训练并逐步提高对长难句的分析和理解能力。
