四、课文精解Dialogue1.Thanksgiving is just around the corner:短语around the corner的本义为“在拐角处,在近处”,如:There is a restaurant just round the corner from the house.房子的拐角处有一家饭馆。

其引申义为likely to happen soon,即“将要发生,在不远的将来”,例如:Economic recovery is around the corner.经济将要复苏。
