先让学生通过一些直观的课件与实物让新知识进入学生的脑海，然后是引入课文的主要句型，在引入了cat和dog的时候用游戏“simon says”巩固这两个单词与相关句子并以此来激发学生的表现欲，从而提高学生的注意力；然后，在呈现了cap与相关句型之后，又通过比较的形式和一个chant让学生知道cat与cap间的区别，虽然三年级学生不要求会写，但认读还是非常重要的，避免学生混淆这两个单词。
