1. across, over＆ through
（1）across表示的是从某物的一边到另一边;指从表面上横过。例如：
She ran across the road. 她从马路上跑过。
（2）through表示从内部通过，有“穿过，透过”等意思。例如：
They went through the forest. 他们穿过森林。
（3）over 是指从物体的正上方过去，并且不与物体接触。例如：
The cat jumps over the wall and runs away.
2. tour, travel, journey＆trip
（1）tour 意为“旅行”， 表示旅行完再返回原出发点。例如：
We are going on the tour of the city this afternoon.
我们今天下午要到城里去观光。
（2）trip通常指短距离的旅行、远足。例如：
I enjoyed our trip to the seaside.
我喜欢我们到海边的旅行。
（3）journey 常指远距离的陆地旅行。例如：
They decided to take a train journey. 他们决定坐火车旅行。
（4）travel 指广义的旅行，而不是指某次具体的旅行，常指长途旅行或者国外旅行。例如：
He came home after years of foreign travel. 在国外旅行多年之后他回家了。
3. famous
famous是形容词，意为“著名的，有名的，出名的”，在句中可作定语或表语。例如：
Yao Ming is a famous basketball player. 姚明是一位著名的篮球运动员。

2 一、表示时间的常用介词
1.at多用于具体钟点前，如：at seven, at ten to nine；也可用于固定搭配中，如：at noon,at
night。
2.In表示一段时间，用于年、月、季节、或泛指的一天的上午、下午、晚上等前。如：in the morning,in
summer,in 2016；还可用于表示“从现在起，多长时间以后或多久之后”的短语中。
3.On主语用在星期几、具体某一天的早、中、晚或节日前。如：on June 1st, on Monday。
4.after表示以过去为起点的某一段时间之后，用于过去时。如：
They finished the work after two years.
after 还可与时间点连用表示将来某个时间之后。如：
I’ll ring you up after two o’clock.
5.until与否定词连用，译为“直到。。。。。。才”，其前的谓语动词多用瞬间性动词；until用在肯定句中，译为“直到。。。。。。为止”，其前的谓语动词需用延续性动词。如：
I didn’t leave until my mother came home.
6.before和after表示时间，分别译为“在。。。。。。之前”和“在。。。。。。之后”。如：
Please bring your homework before ten o’clock.

(1)本句是问路的常见用语，问路要有礼貌，常以excuse me开头。常用的问路句型： Can/ Could you tell me the way to…, please? 请你告诉我去……的路，好吗？
Could you tell me how to get to…？你能告诉我怎样去……？
Which is the way to…? 哪条是去……的路？
Excuse me. Where is …?打扰了，……在哪儿？
(2)the way to…意为“去……的路”。如果表示地点的词是副词，则不用介词to。【例】I don’t know the way home.我不知道回家的路。
【拓展】on one’s way to…意为“在某人去……的路上”。【例】I can buy some books
on my way to school.在我上学的路上，我可以买些书。
2. Go across Dong Chang’an Jie,go along the street and turn left at the third
street on the left. 穿过东长安街，沿着这条街道走，在左边第三条街道处左拐。
(1)go across意为“穿过、越过”，其中across是介词，常和street，road等搭配。【例】Go across the street, and you’ll find the park.穿过这条街，你会发现那个公园。
