Reading and Vocabulary是全部模块的核心。
它以文章Sandstorms in Asia为载体,为我们了介绍了亚洲(主要是中国)沙尘暴的情形。
同时出现出了本模块的重点辞汇、句型、语法和语言功能。
第二:目标和方法分析这节课的语言知识目标有三个:一是识记与自然灾害有关的14个单词,学会运用4个重点单词和7个重点短语,这是基础也是重点;二是知道并运用一个so … that…引导的状语从句,2个动词不定式作主语的句子和1个即含有同位语从句又时间状语从句和原因状语从句的长句子。
这是重点也是难点;三是注意动词不定式在文中的运用,这为下节语法课的学习做了铺垫。
我把这节课的能力目标定位在:重点操练学生整体掌控文章结构和捕捉细节的浏览能力;重点操练学生skimmimg 和scanning的浏览技能。

②提高学生的阅读能力,掌握多种阅读方法,如寻读,精读,理解等。
2)教学难点:对阅读中所获取的信息进行加工学习,形成有效的学习策略。
鼓励学生开口说英语。
三.学情分析和教学方法的选择
高一年级的学生已经在初中阶段的英语学习中,已经积累了一定的词汇基础,并掌握了一些简单的学习策略和技巧,具有初步的英语听说读写能力。
但学生的英语水平参差不齐,教学既要进一步培养尖子的学习能力又要保证能力稍弱的学生能听懂,调动他们的积极性,使他们愿意学,在学习的过程中享受到乐趣。
虽然对英语有一定的兴趣但其学习主动性仍有待提高,未能积极主动地通过其他渠道获取信息,自主学习、探究学习的能力还有待于提高。
本节课的话题较贴近生活,可以引导学生在原有的知识经验基础上通过合作探究学习构建新的知识经验和信息输入。
所以考虑到学生的特点,本次课程我主要采取任务型教学法,视听教学法,问答法等教学方法。
四、教学过程
STEP1 导入lead-in
在课堂开始,我会给学生展示一些同学们所熟知的名人的图片让学生能通过图片来推测出这次课的话题是“英雄hero”当展示到曼德拉这位名人的图片时,我会问do you know the man? 引出我们这堂课的标题。
激起学生去了解这篇文章的好奇心,迅速进入课堂。
Step2 pre-reading 读前
在这个环节我会在学生在读这篇文章之前给出几个问题。
但是并不要求学生马上给出答案。
而是要求在下一环节的阅读中找出答案。
例如:
Step3 while reading
在这个环节当中我设计了3个活动
第一个活动activity1 fast reading
给学生几分钟的时间,让后让学生快速阅读这篇文章,并找出在读前所给题的答案,在读完文章之后,让几个同学来进行回答。
第二个活动activity2 scanning
放录音,让学生跟随录音快速阅读,并要求学生找出每一段落的中心句,并在读完之后,要求得出这篇文章的整体大意。
并让学生起来进行回答
第三个答案:acrtivity3 task 在这一环节当中我会设计一个任务。
任务类型为知识的抢答。
首先我会将整个班级分为若干个小组,每组有七到八个人。
并选出小组长。
这一环节中我设计了十个对错题,(true or false),要求学生以小组的形式进行抢答。
并作出得分记录,最后还要评选出第一名。
在抢答过程当中,我并不只单单是以游戏的形式来完成这一任务,只是简单的完成对错题,我会要求每组在抢答的过程当中,要对他们所选的答案进行解释说明为什么。
让学生在这个过程当中真正玩有所得。
Step 4 post-reading
这一环节我会把我们所读的这篇文章设计成一篇
阅读题的模式,设计五道选择题,用幻灯片展示出来,并让学生进行选择。
题目的设计会以文章的主旨大意和一些细节作为试题。
这让学生能在这一环节当中对刚刚已经学习知识进行巩固。
Step5 summary
在这一环节中我会整堂课做一个简短的总结,并再一次强调本次课的重难点。
让学生明确本课的重点,
再一次明确课堂目标。
和引导学生对这篇文章的情感态度进行升华。
Step6 homework
作业1、要求学生背诵本次课的重点词汇和短语并熟读课文。
2.要求学生课后再去找一位自己喜欢的名人进行了解,并在第二天的课堂上来和同学们一起分享。
