Unit 8 Our dreams 单元解读一、单元内容体现的课标理念本单元在英语核心素养的育人价值下进行，围绕单元主题“人与社会”范畴，并基于“我的职业理想”话题展开教学。
1.语言能力：跟读音频，关注语音的连读，模仿跟读，关注语音语调；基于职业理想的对话式故事学习，引导学生关注want to do和want to be中的表达对将来的期许的含义及其用法。
通过Grammar time的学习，掌握want to be和want to do的基本用法。
在进行语法操练时将控制性训练和非控制性训练相结合，引导学生学以致用。
2.文化意识：能通过学习Story time，引导学生要为了实现自己的梦想而不懈努力。
同时引导学生了解职业及其所承担的责任。
有关职业理想的讨论贯穿了单元的整体，教师需要在教学过程中，积极引导学生树立正确的职业观：职业无贵贱，但想要达成自己的职业理想是需要学生脚踏实地，努力奋斗的。
3.思维品质：基于Story time的学习，学生已经初步明确，首先要有自己的理想，没有理想的人是缺乏内驱力的，也就难以有所成就。

下面笔者根据《普通高中英语课程标准（2017年版）》中的英语学科核心素养四要素语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力做具体分析。
1.语言能力（1）语言知识学生对本单元的核心句型“What do you want to be in the future?”及其回答“I want to be/do...”非常熟悉，早在三（下）Unit5How old are you?Cartoon time中就接触过want+名词的用法，在四（下）Unit7What’s the matter?中也呈现了“I want to...”。
因此，本单元更需要教师挖掘单元主题的深意与内涵，引导学生通过回顾、梳理多年的生活与学习，来明确对自己的定位和期待，给予他们坚持梦想的决心和坚守梦想的信念。
（2）语言技能经过四年的英语学习，学生已具备了基本的语言能力，能根据上下文和图片推测词义，但梦想类词汇和相关句型还有待学习；能小组合作，模仿所学的结构进行初步应用，但创新性和发散性还需加强；能根据导图准确、多元描述相关主题，但深刻性与创新性还需加强；能在真实场景中和同伴交流，并简单介绍自己过去的经历以及对未来的畅想，但文本的逻辑性和丰富性还有待加强。
2.文化意识学生能找到自己的梦想，但对梦想究竟是什么、为什么有这个梦想还需进一步明确；学生能对梦想保持好奇和一定时间内的动力，但持久性还需加强。
3.思维品质虽然学生对相关主题有所涉猎，但思维的准确性和多元性还需加强，深刻性也需要教师的引导。
4.学习能力学生能够从图片、对话、描述性文字中提取关键信息，但概括能力和重建交流的能力还需提升；能较好地把握整体文本，在教师的引导下分析文章脉络，但逻辑性和创新性还需加强；能小组合作完成相关任务，乐于分享；能够在教师指导下对自己的学习策略进行较简单的监控和调整。
