We spenthours splashing around, riding the waves, and burying each other in the sand.In the evenings, we would walk along the beach looking for seashells and cool rocks. I found so many neat shells – big ones, little ones, all different colors and shapes. I kept my favorites in a big bucket to bring home as souvenirs. Sometimes we would see crabs scurrying across the sand or seagulls fighting over a piece of food. Watching the sunset over the water was magical, with the sky turning brilliant shades of orange, pink and purple.On the last day, I didn't want to leave. Then that night we watched a professional fireworks show that felt like it went on forever. The fireworks were blasting off all around us and lighting up the whole sky in bright colors.
