Although good performances are important, I think the most important thing to a good athlete is his moral character and sprits.On one hand, I think they must have hard training in their daily life. With the help of their coaches, athletes improve skills in all aspects .All of them want to perform perfectly in the game and get good grades, but there is only one champion in a game. The athletes can’t guarantee good performances in every game. So we can’t conclude that he is not a good athlete if he loses the game.On the other hand, when they are playing in the games, they are under pressure from theirparents, coaches, fans and so on. So there are many uncertainties which may lead to a failure. I think if they try their best, they are good athletes no matter what the result is. The most important things to an athlete are his love to sports and his never-say-die spirit. Family education is very important, especially in the baby stage.
