４．３意译法
翻译过程中，若直译效果不好，套用又无合适的汉语 习语时，可采用意译法，把英语习语的含义表达出来。例 如“ｈｉｇｈ ｆｉｖｅ”，这是比赛场合经常见到的一个动作，是 两个人一起做的手势，各自把一个手伸得高高的，然后两 人把手掌相对用力拍一下。译成汉语时，我们可以采用意 译的方法，把它翻译成“举手击掌，通常用来表示胜利的 一种手势语”。 上面我们简略探讨了一下有关体育英语中的常用的一 些习语及其翻译方法，希望对广大的体育工作者和爱好者 在阅读有关体育的英语报道时有所帮助。近年来，我国体 育事业已开始转向市场化，国际体育交流日益频繁，而体 育翻译和研究工作却相对滞后。从某种意义上来说，体育 翻译工作的好坏，已经关系到我国体育事业的进一步腾飞 和对外开放的进一步扩大。因此，我们要大力加强体育翻 译的研究工作，为我国体育界做出自己应有的贡献。 参考文献：
