教学过程：

Step1 warm-up and lead-in

T: Boys and girls, I bring you an interesting video today. Let’s enjoy. T: wow, I love this song. Do you like it? Ok, there are many beautiful birds singing and dancing in the video. what are they? 导入鹦鹉T: what can parrots do？学生思维发散回答问题

T: look! We have a new friend here today! Mr. Parrot! Why is he here? What does he want to do? Guess!学生想象，激发思维，回答问题

Step2 presentation

Watch and tick: 观看动画，回答what does he want to do? Listen and say: 听录音，回答why does he want to find a new house?

Read and tick: 快速浏览课文，找出他找到的房子，将图片勾出来

T: these houses look nice. Are they good for Mr. Parrot? No! Why? Read and match: 小组讨论，阅读课文，观察图片，将以下短语填入课文空白横线处，完成故事。

Looks nice somebody else lives there

Looks nice too wet and cold 示范演一演

All right too windy 听一听

Looks nice too dangerous 看图片，选意思；读一读，演一演

Looks beautiful too noisy 读一读，演一演

Like that place too dirty 读一读，演一演

Looks nice too far 读一读，示范解释

T: these places are not good! Poor Parrot! He flies and flies, he is tired and hungry! 出音效“砰”. Oh, what happened?

呈现图片：he bumps into something. 读一读bumps into 做一做动作

T: what does he bump into?

S: his little old house.

T: now it looks warm and nice. What would you say if you were Mr. Parrot?

S: 学生思维发散，展开想象回答问题。

T: or it may say” East or west, home is best!”

Let’s read：跟着视频读课文

let’s act：5-6人一组，表演课文。一人扮演鹦鹉，一人读旁白，其他人演道具和特效。最后玩spotlight 游戏，来一场表演大接龙。

Step 3 practice

T: we already known that Mr. Parrot’s house is warm and nice. What about your house? Write a little poem about your house! 发作业纸写小诗

read a poem 伴乐朗诵小诗，点题结束。
