1. I have some exciting news to tell you! 我有一些激动人心的消息要告诉你们！
to tell you 由to+动词原形构成的动词不定式， 在句中作定语，放在被修饰的名词或供词之后。 如：Do you know the best way to learn English well? 你知道学习英语的最佳方法吗？
动词不定式还有以下用法：
①作主语，这种结构的句子中，常用it 作形式主语，真正的主语是动词不定式。如：It will take the workers about two months to finish the work.工人们将花费大约两个月的时间来完成这项任务。
②作表语中。 用在be动词之后，如：Your duty is to keep the classroom clean every
day. 你的任务是每天保持课室干净。
③作宾语。 用在及物动词之后。 在动词love, plan, want, decide 等后常接动词不定式作宾语。如：He wants to have a rest at home this Sunday. 这个星期天， 他想在休息。
④作宾语补足语，用在宾语之后，对宾语补充说明。如：Kangkang asked me to book
two tickets for tonight.康康让我去订两张今晚的票。
2. find out “查明，发现”，指通过认真观察、调查或研究后才发现某事或某物。如：Please read the map and find out where the post office is. 请看地图并找出邮局在哪里。
3. decide on“决定，选定”The government decided on a new plan to improve the
environment.政府决定了改善环境的一项新计划。 decide to do …“决定做……”如：He decided to stay and look after his mother.他决定留下来照顾母亲。

一，教材分析
1、地位与作用
八年级英语下册的第六单元Topic3 Section B讲述了交通安全及交通规则。它由1a，1b，2等五个部分组成，今天我上课的具体内容是Section B的1a，1b，2,3and 4。教学的目的是学会识别更多的交通图标，进一步学习交通规则。本人结合教学实际在教材处理上作了适当的调整，使教学内容符合学生的年龄特点和实际认知水平，先利用多媒体手段展示交通有关的一些图片，比如交警，交通阻塞，交通灯，十字路，交通事故等交通现象来引入1a部分。接着提问当我们骑车时应该怎样保持安全。平时怎样遵守交规，如果违反了交通规则,我们将会受到惩罚或处于危境当中。从而引入语法学习由if引导的条件状语从句。进而通过课本练习总结if引导的条件状语从句 。然后通过听力训练来点出骑自行车的好处。最后点出：作为一名中学生应该怎样遵守交通法规？
2、重点与难点
重点：学会识别更多的交通图标和用英语表达交通规则，掌握if 引导的条件状语从句。
难点：if 引导的条件状语从句（在if 引导的条件状语从句中，当主句用了一般将来或情态动词时，从句就只能用一般现在时）
3、学情分析
本人所任教的班级由于是借班上课，对学生的个性特点和学习程度不大了解，对教材的熟悉与处理也有不到位之处。所以有时难免会陷入尴尬境地。但学生的思维活跃，对学习英语的积极性比较高，有较强的表现欲。
二，教学思路
本课以识别交通图标 ，学习交通安全及交通规则为中心话题。围绕以 if引导的条件状语从句学习。通过有效的教学手段，激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，养成良好的学习习惯并形成有效的学习策略，发展自主学习的能力和合作精神，始终贯彻“学中用，用中学，学用结合，学以致用”的原则。教学方法多样，根据教材和教学的需要采用了直观法，任务型教学法，活动教学法和交际法。教师还不失时机地指导学生学会导学自悟的学习方法。教学过程中始终贯彻以学生为主体，教师为主导，训练为主线，能力为目标的教学理念，做到课堂教学活动化，教学活动任务化，活动任务具体化，让学生在教师的指导下，通过感知，体验，实践，参与和合作等方式，实现一个个任务的目标，感受成功。在学习过程中进行情感和策略调整，以形成积极地学习态度，促进语言实际运用能力的提高。

仁爱版初中英语教材共六册,每册由四个模块组成,每个模块由单元----话题----功能---任务构成,编写思路清晰,符合学生的认识发展规律.八年级英语下册第六单元Topic1 SectionA讲述了让学生学习如何用英语谈论旅游，并收集旅游信息。它由３部分组成，用１课时完成。通过学习SectionA,学生可以更多的了解旅游知识并提高实际能力；动词不定式是本节课的重点语法项目。
2．教学目标
（１）．知识目标
要求学生牢记SectionA所有新学的四会单词．短语和重点句型；掌握不定式“to do”的用法。
（２）．技能目标：
能用英语与他人谈论关于旅游的话题。培养学生提高语言交际能力,能在小组中积极与他人协作,从而开阔自己的视野,扩大知识面。
（３）．情感目标
培养学生爱护大自然，热爱旅游．积极参与课堂上各种英语实践活动的兴趣。培养学生分工合作和团体协作精神。
