音乐与我们的生活息息相关,本课的知识点是大部分学生乐于学习和接受的,相信他们对本课的学习充满期待。

I’m number 1 for English. Today my topic is travel journal (part 1 warming up and pre-reading)
下面我将从说教材、说学情,说教法和学法、说教学过程、说板书设计五个方面来对本课进行说明。

第一,说教材
本课时是人教版高中英语必修2第五单元,本单元主题是音乐,是高中生学习英语知识的重要板块之一。

生活中,音乐无处不在,音乐是社会文化的重要组成部分。

所以本单元对于学生学习音乐常识,了解音乐具有重要作用,同时也有利于培养学生对音乐的热爱,提高英语素养。

根据教材,学生知识水平以及情感需求,我确定本节课的教学目标分为三个方面:1、知识目标
1. To activate the Ss in learning “music”.
2. To develop the Ss’ ability of reading.
3. To help the Ss know something about the different styles of music.

二、说学情
在对音乐方面,高一学生可以说是流行音乐爱好者主力军,他们喜欢音乐,并随时把一些喜欢的歌转为自己喜欢唱的歌,把喜欢的歌手作为崇拜偶像。

但是他们对音乐了解并不是很多,需要进一步的学习。

在知识方面,他们已经在高中学了一段时间,有一定的英语,和英美文化素养。

他们有过较多的小组合作经验,思维活跃,善于和同学交流,乐于表达自己的观点,对事物已有独自见解,渴望获得同学和教师的赞许;作为高一的孩子,
具有较强的探究欲望,思维能力基本实现从具体思维向抽象思维的过渡。

信息素养上,学生具有课堂学习环境下学习的经验,了解计算机操作,具有初步的在多媒体教室学习的经验。

三、说教法和学法
教法:1、采用多媒体辅助,让学生听几种不同风格的音乐,激发学生兴趣
2、问答法,引导学生回答音乐对应的音乐种类,及为reading做准备
3、小组讨论法,让学生相互交流,增强交流能力,同时了解更多音乐知识
4、快速阅读法,在阅读时采用快速阅读,提高学生阅读能力学法:学生在上课过程中要跟进老师,积极参与,与老师的步骤同步,形成良好的学习习惯和方法。

四、说教学程序
Step 1. 导入(5分钟)
此单元导入采用问答法和借助多媒体,播放音乐让学生猜那属于教材第33页的哪一种音乐。

(以此开始可以提高学生参与学习的积极性,活跃课堂气氛,使学生投入本课堂)Hi, everyone. Do you like music? How much do you know about music? Can you tell about the different kinds of music? Plea se turn to page 33. Look at the pictures. Let’s listen to some music. Let’s see if you can guess which music matches with which picture.
Ask the students to name different music styles. Show some styles of music that they are not familiar with.
Step2. 分组讨论(5分钟,四人一组)讨论自己喜欢的音乐和对音乐的了解
可以使学生提高口头表达能力,同时相互了解分享音乐知识,增加对音乐的兴趣。

What kind of music do you like better, Chinese or Western, classical or modern? Why? Why do you like to listen to music? Let’s discuss these questions in small groups. Try to share your opinions with one another.
Step3. 介绍课本列出的八种音乐(5分钟)
在听了几种音乐和小组讨论之后,学生对音乐有一定了解,此处再利用ppt介绍几种风格音乐的知识,增加学生对音乐的了解,提高他们的音乐素养,让他们爱上音乐。

Step4. Pre-reading (10分钟)
此部分主要采用问答法,让学生了解更多音乐知识的同时,为reading做准备,同时提供一些与reading有关的背景知识,使学生对课文内容有一定的预见能力,同时使课文内容对学生更有吸引力。

进入阅读部分开始我采用快速阅读法,让学生自己文章大意,段落大意,提高他们的阅读能力。

当然,这知识阅读的一部分,由于时间限制,接下来的阅读将会在下一节课继续。

1. Skimming
T: Now please listen to the recording of the te xt THE BAND THAT W ASN’T. Then you should tell me the main idea. .
T: Skim the text and identify the topic sentence of each paragraph. You may find it either at the beginning, the middle or the end of the paragraph.
Paragraph 1 Dreaming of being a famous musician or singer.
Paragraph 2 How musician form bands.
Paragraph 3 How the Monkees got their start.
Paragraph 4 How the Monkees became serious about the music business.

Step5. 备选活动及家庭作业及总结(5分钟)
另外我准备了备选活动,在时间充裕时使用,放一首该乐队的歌I’m a believer给同学们听。

以此增加课堂灵活性。

备选活动:听the Monkees的一首歌曲I’m a believer
家庭作业: 1. Read more about “The Monkees”.
2. get more familiar with new words.
最后,我将给学生做一个小结,总结今天的学习内容,进行稍作复习,并布置家
庭作业。

每一节课有一个总结会使学生对所学的知识印象更加深刻,作业则是把知识付诸实践的有效手段。

五、说板书设计
板书分三块
左:主要写有关音乐种类的词classical music, pop, folk, jazz, dance, rock and roll, hip-hop, rap etc.
中:小组讨论中对话需要用的句型
右面:写出阅读部分各段的主旨
