Kong Zi‟s father was Su Lianghe 叔 梁纥who was a famous warrior. Su Lianghe „s first wife was Shi Yaoying 施曜英. And they had nine daughters and a handicapped son. Due to the traditional custom that disabled son could not be an heir, Su Lianghe had his second marriage with a sixteen year old girl Yan Zheng颜征 who was the youngest daughter of a well-known learner Yan Xiang颜襄. Not long after their marriage, Yan Xiang gave birth to Kong Zi in an ancestral temple there they leaved and named him Qiu Zhong Ni丘仲尼
