201045639222Give me a chance, I will give a wonder back----- The Shawshank Redemption电影观后感Someone says this is a male film, because there are almost no female roles in the film. Someone says this is an inspirational film, because it passes the belief of never giving up. Someone says this is a legendary film, because it fully demonstrates the brilliance of human nature. The Shawshank Redemption is an American drama film directed by Frank Darabont in 1994. It is a classic film I have seen and I read the book The Shawshank Redemption in high school, The story begins with the trial of a young banker, Andy Dufrense, who victimized by circumstantial evidence. The Shawshank where people there all had been in the prison for ten years, they lived here for years without hope, and they lived in each small prison, where nobody knew what was their dream, what was their hope. Like the old man said: “Some birds aren't meant to be caged, but most birds will choose to stand it”. They had tried so many times to get away but they never finished it, at last they gave up. Nonetheless, Andy tried, and he had the bright brain, Spirit of perseverance and the most important thing----hope.Hope--- never give upRed:” Hope is a dangerous thing, and it is the root of mental anguish”. As he had been heavily squeezed for more than 30 years in prison, he was qualified to say this. Because when the first day he got in the prison, the warden said: "give the soul to God, I have the body.” However, Andy told him: “Remember, hope is a good thing, even the best thing, and no good thing ever dies.” Then Andy spent more than 20 years in digging a tunnel which Red thought it was unable to drill though spent 600 years on it. At last he got out of the prison by the tunnel.Through the film, the part impressed me most was when Andy got out of the jail. He could not help shouting in the heavy rain. He extended his arms in front of himself as if he were welcoming the fresh air and the freedom. At that moment, I saw that confidence would win the darkness; I saw the power of hope, and I found out thatthe most important thing to success was never giving up! When Andy in tunnel, it also was the darkest time, stench surrounded him, couldn’t see anything in front. I thought at that moment he must tell himself: “Hope is a good thing; maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!” And he didn’t think too much, just insisted in crawling, because the hope was in his heart.Freedom ---- catch it before lose itThere was a Scene when the two Italian women were singing 《Le Nozze di Figaro》, Prisoners didn’t know what they were singing, In fact, no one wanted to know. But they lost in the voice; the voice flew so highly that hit the cloud top. The voice like a beautiful bird freely flew in the sky, and then flew into the gray prison and all prisoners in the prison felt moment of freedom.Prisoners are the people do really understand how important and valuable the freedom is, as ordinary people we can not realize the pain of loss of freedom. But it is wise of you to cherish it, before you lose it.Friendship---give you a handThis is also a movie about friendship, not loveIn my opinion, without Red’s help, Andy couldn’t get out of the prison successfully; he could not breathe the fresh air out of the prison, neither. The friendships between men in prison shocked me. The friendship between Andy and Red was built under the wall, but it seemed purer and cleaner than anyone’s in the world. They were both introvert, but they knew each other well. So when they met each other on the small island they smiled happily and brightly.I think success is derived from friendship, or teamwork. Friendship is one of the most important relationships in the world. Marx and Engels are famous not for their theory but also for their great friendship. Without Engels’s help《Das Kapital》couldn’t be finished. Without Engels’s help Marx might ha d starved to death before he became famous.Someone says it’s a movie about hope, I agree with this opini on. It tells me never lose hope and I should stick to my faith, because I can hold my fate. In fact, everyone lives in a prison, which has its own rule. It is the rule that imprison us, not the walls. You can’t change the rules, but you can struggle for yo ur own life, so never give up!。

Reflections on the Enron Scandal. The Enron scandal, which unfolded in the early 2000s, remains a prominent case study in corporate ethics and governance. As one of the largest corporate failures in history, it shook the financial world to its core, raising questions about the integrity of corporate leadership, the role of auditors, and the regulatory frameworks that govern corporate behavior.Enron, once a powerhouse in the energy industry, collapsed under the weight of its own fraud and deceit. The company's leadership, led by Jeffrey Skilling and Kenneth Lay, employed complex financial schemes to inflate profits and hide debts, all while misleading investors and regulators. The use of off-balance sheet partnerships and accounting gimmicks allowed Enron to portray a picture of financial health that was far from the truth. What makes the Enron scandal particularly egregious is not just the scale of the fraud but also the brazen disregard for ethical standards. Executives at the top knew full well what they were doing was wrong, yet they chose to prioritize their own financial gains over the long-term interests of the company and its shareholders. Thisreckless pursuit of short-term profits came at a巨大代价, not only for Enron but also for the thousands of employees who lost their jobs and the investors who lost their savings. The role of auditors in this scandal is also noteworthy. Arthur Andersen, Enron's long-time auditor, was complicitin the fraud, as they failed to detect the accounting manipulations and turned a blind eye to unethical practices. This failure highlights the critical importance of independent auditors in ensuring corporate accountability and transparency. When auditors fail to uphold their duties, the integrity of the financial system is compromised. The Enron scandal also exposed the limitations of regulatory frameworks. Despite the presence of regulationsdesigned to protect investors and ensure corporate accountability, these failed to prevent the fraud from happening. This underscores the need for constant vigilance and updating of regulatory frameworks to keep pace with the evolving complexities of corporate finance. In hindsight, the Enron scandal serves as a powerful reminder of the critical importance of ethics and integrity in corporate leadership. It reminds us that while profits and growth are important, they cannot come at the cost of ethical standards and corporate responsibility. Leaders must be held accountable for their actions and must prioritize the long-term interests of the company and its stakeholders. Moreover, the Enron scandal underscores the importance of robust regulatory frameworks and independent auditors in ensuring corporate accountability and transparency. Auditors play a crucial role in validating financial statements and identifying potential frauds, while regulators set the standards and enforce the rules that govern corporate behavior. When these two pillars ofcorporate governance fail, the consequences can be catastrophic. In conclusion, the Enron scandal is a sobering reminder of the consequences of unethical corporate leadership and the failure of regulatory frameworks. It serves as a call to action for businesses, auditors, and regulators to constantly strive for excellence in corporate governance and ethics. Only by upholding high standards of conduct and ensuring transparency and accountability can we prevent such scandals from happening again and protect theinterests of investors, employees, and society at large.。
the truman show英文观后感

1The Truman Show Movie ReviewWow, what a crazy movie The Truman Show was! It's about this guy named Truman Burbank who has no idea that his whole life is actually a giant TV show. From the minute he was born, every single moment of Truman's life has been broadcast live to billions of viewers across the entire world! Isn't that just the wildest thing you've ever heard? The movie starts off showing Truman as a little baby, being "born" on the show. Except it's not a real birth, it's just acting. His mom is just a lady pretending to be his mom for the cameras. And the doctor and nurses are also actors. Even the house Truman grows up in is just a set! It's all one big fake town called Seahaven that's actually inside a massive dome studio. As Truman grows up, he doesn't have any clue that everything around him is fake. All the people in his life like his wife Meryl, his best friend Marlon, and everyone else in Seahaven are just actors following a script. They have to act completelynatural so Truman never suspects anything is up. The only ones who know the truth are the viewers watching at篇2The Truman Show Movie ReviewWow, The Truman Show was such an interesting and thought-provoking movie! I had heard a little bit about it before watching, but I didn't fully understand the crazy premise until experiencing it myself. The main character, Truman Burbank, has lived his entire life on an enormous TV set without realizing that his whole world and everyone around him are completely fake! From the very beginning, we see Truman going about his daily routine in the cheerful, picturesque town of Seahaven. Everything seems perfectly normal at first. Truman has a nice house, a good job at an insurance company, and a loving wife named Meryl. But then some really weird things start happening that make you go "Huh??"Like when Truman tries to leave Seahaven on a ferry, and his vehicle suddenly gets bombarded by special effects like fire, wind, and objects falling from the sky to block his path. Or the time when a backdrop falls from the sky right in front of Truman, revealing a tiny glimpse of the enormous studio surrounding his town. So bizarre! My favorite parts were watching Truman slowly start to notice and question all the strange coincidences and setups in his life. Like how a light object "falls" in the same pattern every single morning to hit him on the head as he's leaving for work. Or how there's constantly bright lighting like at a studio following him wherever he goes.It was hilarious yet disturbing watching Truman's friends and wife having to follow tight scripting and camera cues in order to convince Truman his life is authentic. Meryl, his on-screen wife, has to act giddy and overjoyed at all times so Truman won't suspect she's just a paid actor. There's even a scene where Truman gets frustrated that Meryl has memorized the floor plan of their home down to the foot!I felt really bad for Truman because even though he's living in a beautiful place and seems happy on the surface, you can tell he feels trapped and like something isn't quite right about his world. He has hardly any privacy since he's being watched by cameras and crew 24/7. I was cheering for him the whole time to finally escape and discover the shocking truth about his reality being one enormously scripted set.The creator of the Truman Show, Christof, was such an unsettling villain because he justified exploiting and deceiving Truman for decades as an art form and for entertainment value. He constantly gives fake scenarios to Truman, like killing off his father in a made-up storm, or hiring an actress to play his wife. Christof thinks of Truman as his personal puppet who has no right to the truth.I was riveted during the tense climax when Truman starts piecing everything together and makes a daring attempt to sail out of Seahaven and into the real world. The special effects were mind-blowing, like when the crew has to create a massive artificial storm to once again try blocking Truman's escape. You're just waiting for the moment when Truman finally breaks free from the giant dome covering his world. When Truman does finally step through the exit door into the real world outside the studio, it was such a powerful and liberating scene. I loved his defiant speech calling out Christof and the show for robbing him of human rights and a genuine life experience. At the end when Truman waves to the audiences who've been watching his life as entertainment, I felt amazed that he faced so much courage to embrace reality, no matter how unpleasant. The Truman Show raised so many fascinating questions for me about what's real versus fake, the ethics of television/media exploitation, and the universal human need for truth. Even though the premise is totally out there and extreme, a lot of the ideas resonated with me about feeling pressured to behave certain ways or not being offered real choice in life. I'm still pondering so much of it!This movie was honestly mind-bending, hilarious, and just brilliant storytelling in my opinion. The message of gainingself-awareness, breaking free from deception, and seeking an authentic life really struck a chord with me. Even the supporting characters were masterfully crafted, like Truman's only true friend who tries dropping him hints about his reality.I'd highly recommend The Truman Show to anyone who wants to be totally absorbed in a creative, well-acted film that makes you think deeply about the human condition. Just watching Truman make the empowering choice to accept reality was so gratifying and unforgettable. What an intricate, poignant movie! I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This is definitely going to be one I'll need to watch again to fully grasp all the thought-provoking layers.篇3The Truman Show - A Movie That Made Me ThinkHave you ever felt like everyone was watching you? Like you were living in a big reality show? That's how I felt after watching The Truman Show! It's a crazy movie about a guy named Truman Burbank whose entire life is actually a giant TV show that millions of people watch every day without him knowing it.Truman was adopted at birth by a television company. They used cutting-edge technology to build an entire fake town called Seahaven just for him to live in. Every person in Seahaven is an actor, even Truman's wife and best friend! There are hidden cameras everywhere recording his every move 24/7. The set has a huge dome over it with a painted sky and artificial lighting to simulate day and night. It's all totally fake except for Truman himself. From the very beginning of his life, Truman's world has been controlled and scripted. As a baby, they hired an actress to play his mother. As he got older, they hired more actors to play people in his life like neighbors, teachers and co-workers. Truman has no idea that none of it is real. He thinks Seahaven is just a normal, ordinary town.Watching the movie, I felt bad for Truman. His whole life was a lie! He never got to make篇4The Truman Show - A Movie About a Guy Whose Life Was a Big TV Show!Have you ever wondered what it would be like if your whole life was just one big TV show and you didn't even know it? That's exactly what happened to Truman Burbank in the movie "The Truman Show"! Let me tell you all about this crazy movie.Truman was adopted as a baby by a TV studio. They built this huge dome set that looked like a regular town called Seahaven. Everyone who lived there, except for Truman, was an actor getting paid to be on the show about Truman's life 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Can you imagine having cameras following you around everywhere you went - even the bathroom?! So strange! As Truman grew up, weird things kept happening that made him wonder if something was off about his world. Like one time, a light came loose from the sky and fell right in front of him. Another time, he was reading a magazine with a picture from the set on the cover! But whenever he asked questions, the actors brushed it off like nothing weird was going on.My favorite part was when Truman tried to get out of Seahaven by taking a boat and sailing past the horizon. But the studio had created a special effect of dark clouds and high waves that made it too dangerous to leave. So he had to turn back! It made me so mad that they wouldn't let him go explore the real world.Truman's wife was also an actress, but she ended up feeling sorry for him being trapped. She tried to tell him the truth that his life was just a TV show, but the studio kicked her off before she could explain everything. That's when Truman really started to catch on that something bizarre was happening. Finally, after noticing too many strange things, Truman was determined to escape the fake town and studio set. Even when the crew created a crazy storm to try and stop him from leaving, he still made it all the way to the exit door and was able to step out into the real world for the first time ever! I was so happy for him.By the end, Truman was free from the fake life he had been trapped in. I felt so bad that he had been lied to his entire life just so people could watch him on TV. It made me appreciate being able to go outside and travel to real places instead of being stuck inside a studio set. This movie really makes you think about how much of our lives is maybe an act or a performance, and what is truly real versus fake. It's pretty deep for a kids' movie! I liked that it had funny moments but also made you feel sad for Truman too. I definitely recommend watching "The Truman Show" if you want to see a wild and creative movie.Overall, I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars! It was so imaginative and kept me wondering what would happen next the whole time. Plus Jim Carrey was hilarious as Truman. What did you think of the movie? Let me know if my review makes you want to watch it or not!篇5The Truman Show - A Movie ReviewWow, what a movie! The Truman Show was so interesting and made me think a lot. It's about this guy named Truman Burbank who has no idea that his whole life is actually a huge TV show that millions of people watch every day. Crazy, right?Truman was born and raised on this totally fake set made to look like a normal town called Seahaven. Everything and everyone around him is actually an actor or staff memberworking on the show. Even his wife and best friend are actors! The only person who doesn't know it's all fake is Truman himself. From the time he was a tiny baby, every single moment of Truman's life has been broadcasted live to viewers across the world. There are thousands of hidden cameras all over Seahaven recording everything he does - when he eats, sleeps, goes to work, you name it. People tune in 24/7 to watch the Show and see what Truman does next. The creator of the show is this crazy television guy named Christof. He basically controls and directs every aspect of Truman's artificial world from a huge studio command room. If the script calls for a storm or someone new to arrive in town, Christof makes it happen with tricks and paid actors. He's like a controlling movie director except Truman's whole life is the movie! At first, I thought the whole premise was really messed up. Like, how could they do that to Truman without him knowing?? It's such an invasion of his privacy and super unethical. Watching someone's intimate life for entertainment just feels weird and wrong to me.But as the movie goes on, you start to see how tragically lonely and unfulfilled Truman feels in his little fake bubble world. No matter what he does or who he's with, he can't shake the feeling that something is majorly off in his life. He's stuck in a constant cycle feeling depressed and discontent without knowing why.Even though he appears to have the perfect family, great job, lovely home, and sunny utopia to live in, Truman is deeply unsatisfied. All the money, blue skies, and manufactured happiness in the world can't fill the empty void he feels. I felt so sad watching him struggle to find purpose and meaning in his meaningless fake existence. Trapped in a phony world without any awareness or control over it.That's when I realized this show, as unethical as it seems, might actually be giving Truman more than it's taking away. By watching him, the viewers get to analysis and think critically about what it really means to be free, to have knowledge of the truth, and find genuine happiness and purpose. Weighty philosophical stuff that kids like me don't usually ponder. When Truman finally starts catching on that everything is a sham, the intensity and suspense of the movie gone through the roof! I was on the edge of my seat watching him piece together clue after clue that his world is not what it seems. He gets soclose to breaking free and escaping to a real life so many times, but Christof always finds an insane way to pull him back in.The huge sailing scene at the end was so epic and cinematic. Truman finally takes his freedom after living a lie for three decades. Sailing away across that painted sea backdrop was such a symbolic and beautiful moment. I had goosebumps watching him trade an artificial reality for the scary-yet-liberating truth of the real world. Even though he lost everything he ever knew, at least now he was free. After watching all of Truman's struggles, I realized how important and precious the basic human rights of truth, free will and spiritual freedom really are. He was denied all of those and it nearly destroyed his soul. We're supposed to be able to think for ourselves, ask questions, and live an authentic life without deception. At the same time, I see why Christof did what he did. He gave Truman a utopian life free of poverty, crime, suffering and ugliness. A perfectly groomed childhood and overly positive world. In Christof's eyes, he was protecting Truman from harsh realities and human flaws. He wanted to prove that he could create a real heaven on earth by controlling every single element of it.So in the end, The Truman Show makes you think hard about important stuff like what's more valuable - the ugly truth or a pretty lie? Security or freedom? A phony existence created for you or a real life you have to make on your own? Heavy stuff for sure, but that's what's so awesome about this brilliant movie. It makes you question and think critically in a way most TV shows and movies don't.I'd totally recommend The Truman Show to anyone who wants to watch an original, suspenseful, mind-bending movie. Just get ready to get your brain tied in knots while you ponder all the deep philosophical questions it brings up! Even though I'm just a kid, this movie made me feel like a little philosopher trying to figure out what's real and what's fake. I'll never watch TV shows or movies the same way again, that's for sure!篇6The Truman ShowI recently watched a movie called "The Truman Show" and it was super duper cool! The story was about a guy named Truman who lived in a town called Seahaven. But guess what? Seahaven wasn't a real town at all! It was all part of a big TV show and Truman was the star!Truman had no idea that his whole life was being filmed and broadcasted to the whole world. Can you imagine that? Every single thing he did, from eating breakfast to going to work, was all watched by millions of people. It was like he was living in a giant fishbowl!Truman started to feel something was not quite right. He noticed strange things happening around him. Like when a light fell from the sky, or when his wife always seemed to know what he was going to say. He started to question everything and wanted to find out the truth.Truman was a brave and curious guy. He decided to go on an adventure to discover what was really going on in his life. He faced many challenges and obstacles along the way, but he never gave up. I think that's a really important lesson from the movie – to always follow your heart and never stop searching for the truth. One of my favorite parts of the movie was when Truman sailed away on a boat to escape Seahaven. The whole world was watching and cheering for him. It was so exciting! Truman showed us that it's okay to be different and to break free from what everyone expects of you. He taught us to be brave and to believe in ourselves."The Truman Show" made me think a lot about reality and what is truly important in life. Sometimes we get so caught up in our routines and what others expect from us that we forget to live our own lives. Truman reminded me to be true to myself and to follow my dreams, no matter what. The movie also made me realize the power of television and media. It showed how people can be manipulated and controlled by what they see on the screen. It's important to think critically and not just believe everything we see or hear.In conclusion, "The Truman Show" is an amazing movie that teaches us about courage, truth, and the importance of living our own lives. Truman's journey was inspiring and it made me think about my own life too. I would definitely recommend this movie to everyone, no matter how old you are. It's a movie that will make you laugh, cry, and think. So go grab some popcorn and enjoy "The Truman Show"!。

1Every film is famous for a reason.I thought for a moment and decided that maybe I should write it in English to better state my point. The Shawshank Redemption is a glamourous film. Every character in it is commendable. Those prisoners, innocent or not ,most of therm spent two thirds of their lives in that closed damed Shawshank Prison. As Red said they've become"institutionalized". They find life meaningless outside the prison. Old Brook and Red experienced the same outside the prison. They even thought likewise: They want to go back to "where they belong ", they can't endure the life outside, in which they find themselves useless. They want to commit a crime so that they can back and they both think of suicide. Brook did commit suicide while, Red with his unrealised promise to Andy, choosed to live."Get busy living or get busy dying." Being insititutionalized is terrible and awful. That is a man without his own will, without his bright life, a man of no hope.Andy crawled to light through 500 yards of shit-smelling foulness that a normal man can't even imagine. Through that unbearable 500 yards, he earned his freedom. He embraced the whole bright big outside world that he had dreamed of going back to for 20 years. He smiled in the pouring rain and lightening. That moment I saw a man of his totally free will. That scene reminds me of wallace in film Brave Heart, at the last moment of his glorious life, sceaming out "freedom". Though he died the next moment ,he still earned his freedom, his entire eternal freedom cried out with his hope for his man,his country. As Andy said,"Hope is a good thing ,maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies." Hope is what leads them to a dream of freedom and finally ,to the reality of freedom. 2What would it feel if I can wake up everyday forgetting what happened forthe last whole year?Lucy in the movie “50 First Dates” told me this feeling. Every morning whenshe woke up,she only rememberred the Sunday of last year which was her father’sbirthday, also the date she had the car accident which made her only keep memorybefore Sunday,so she always felt happy living the same habit as what she did onSunday a year ago with the kind set-up by her father and brother. After meetingHenry, she could only remember who he was on the same day. But after one night,he became a stranger to h er. She couldn’t even recognize he was the one she usedto date and love everyday. Henry tried his best to give her a new differentmeeting every day so as to win her smile and regain their “First Date”. Henrymade her tapes every morning to help her remember what happened the day beforeand the last whole year. Lucy thus felt grateful with all she had when she wokeup everyday. On the same day,she always had the same deep gratitude to faceHenry with her sweet smile. What a beautiful feeling it is to always feel thanksgiving and to alwaysappreciate each other’s effort. A touching story between a memory lost woman anda devoted man taught all ofus, normal people, the essence of love. When twopeople can thank each other for their devotion everyday like what they did foreach other on first date, love can forever be refreshed and energetic. On Lucy’sside, people with memory will ask for more than yesterday and bee critical oftheir partners day by day, while people without memory will feel grateful fortheir life and the people around them everyday. In the movie, when one day Lucy decided to break up with Henry to let himrebuild his life by burning all their diaries and tapes,I cried for Henry’sbroken heart. For her,it was just one day feeling. For him,it was long-termaffection and connection. It was easier for her than him to give up their love.On Henry’s side, people with memory will always remember the past happiness andtreasure it for the rest of their life, while people without memory will easilygive up at the end of the same day. 3The Lord of the Rings:The Fellowship of the RingThis story is talk about the most powerful ring of the world. It happens inanother places where was written by the famous writer in the UK——J.R.R.Tolkien.In that place, there has a race called Shire. There lived a Hobbit namedBilbo Baggins. He had a beautiful and powerful ring. But,it can leads someone whohad it to go to the wrong way and made someone to be evil. His friends,Gandalf,Grey Pilgrim, and the White Rider knows that. And he advise Bilbo to giveup the ring, and give it to his nephew——Frodo Baggins to detroy it.Frodo togetherwith his three friends meet the els,the dwarfs and the man to talk about thatwho will go with Frodo and his friends. Finally,Gandalf,Aragorn (the realking),and a man a dwarf a els will go.For all the roles,I like the Gandalf best.Although he very powerful, but helikes to discover new things.Just like he enjoy smoking because of Hobbit. He iskind, brave humorous and clever. He always want to protect the others even theprice is die.He fights with the monster from the ancient to make the othersrunning away. But he falls from the cliff. So he dead.I like him I want to besomeone like him although I was not very strong and had no power. But I stillwant to protect someone who I loved. Claire Danes may not be the most beautiful Juliet, but she interpretsperfectly the image of an infatuated young girl in her first love. I can neverforget the scene when they first meet at the ball. The film Changjin Lake amazed the Chinese people. After watching the film, the mood can't be calm for a long time. The forward-looking decision of the Party Central Committee to aid Korea of "one punch to open, lest a hundred punches come", the tragic and shocking battle scenes, the heroic spirit of Chinese soldiers, the supreme glory and firm belief, always linger in my mind."If we don't fight this war, we have to fight the next generation.". This is the voice of the soldiers who survived the war of liberation. In order to create a peaceful environment without war and aggression for future generations, they have no hesitation to abandon their wives and children, their parents and embarked on the battlefield of gunfire again. Facing the advanced equipment of the military and the freezing living environment of minus 40 degrees, they have shown the ambition, perseverance and courage of the Chinese people. Even the military has to admit: "in the face of such determined enemies, we will never defeat them".Changjin lake not only has a distinctive patriotic theme, but also has originality in artistry. When the ice sculptures of volunteer soldiers frozen to death appeared, when Lei Gong's flesh and blood were blurred and he shouted "I'm in pain" before his sacrifice, and when the film described the delicious food of the Army and the scene of volunteers chewing hard potatoes and breaking their teeth by comparison, it not only made people cry and sad, but also made Chinese people living in a peaceful environment more respect martyrs and heroes, And cherish the peaceful life now.At this time, I just want to sincerely bow to the most lovely person. 6Born in a slum in the United States, Liz of " Wind and Rain Harvard Road" has suffered from family problems since she was a child.
