三、教学步骤和建议Step1.Preparation教师放三年级下册第六单元的歌曲“They Are in the Zoo.'’师生齐唱。

Step 2.Presentation1单词呈现(1)“请你猜猜”活动教师课前在黑板上画一个框,将hospital,post office,bookstore,cinema,science museum,park,library,school等单词卡片反面朝外贴在黑板上作为地图,每张卡片面都写着数字。

教师指着其中一张卡片说:“Now I am in No•l. Please{what place it is.Is it a ZOO/school/park…?”教师要注意先出示两个学生的场所,第三次再让学生猜的时候,他们首先会考虑学过的词汇,这时再呈现新词cinema。

教师示范朗读,学生跟读。

Unit 1 How can I get there?第一课时教学目标:1.帮助学生理解对话,并学会运用句型“Where is the...?”问路。

2.帮助学生学会运用词组“near,next to,behind”等表述方位,达到简单的交际。

教学重点:1. 句型:Where is the ...? It’s near/next to/behind ....2. 运用句型问路,表述方位教学难点:运用句型问路,表述方位。

教学过程:1.Warm-up师生自由问答:T:Hello,nice to meet you!T:What's the weather like today?T:Good!What's this in English?T:Yes,It's my book. Where can we buy the book?2.Presentation and practice(1)教师在黑板上画一座房子和一个机器人,指着机器人说:Who's that?学生回答:It'sRobin.再指着房子说:Where can we find Robin?学生回答:In the museum.教师出示感叹句:What a great museum!教师出示一张明信片,说:”It’s a post card. Robin want to sent a post card.Where should he go?”引出单词post office.教师出示一张地图,问学生:“Where is the post office?”出示单词:next to,near,behind.教师利用三个例句结合图片理解next to, near, behind.(4)在学生理解三个方位介词后,小组活动,利用方位介词描述途中各个场馆的位置。

(5)Let’s try 教师让学生阅读听力题目,然后听录音独立完成内容。

(6)教师出示对话内容,请学生听录音,然后朗读对话。

(7)学生进行操练,先同桌互练,再在全班表演.3. Consolidation and extension(1)教师出示兰州市的地图,请学生根据地图来描述位置。

(2)Let’s wrap it up 根据学生的描述,请学生说一说我们都学过那些方位介词。

教师帮助学生总结。

然后以小组为单位造句。

教学重难点:掌握四会短语和A Let's learn部分中运用方位借此表述位置。

教学过程:1. Warm---up (热身及预习展示)学生复习对话,教师请学生两人一组表演朗读对话。

2. Presentation and practice(精讲点拨)(1)教师出示Robin, 并说:Robin is a robot. Where can we find Robin? 引导学生说出单词science museum.(2)教师出示地图,并说:Robin wants to sent a post card, it’s near the museum. Where is it? 引出单词post office.(3)教师根据地图继续引导学生:Robin wants to buy some books, the place is next to the post office. Can you find where Robin want to go?(4)以同样的方法教单词cinema和hospital.(5)教师领读单词,学生小组内读单词,相互纠正发音。

(6)教师利用地图,请学生描述每个地方的位置。

(7)学生进行操练,先同桌互练,再在全班表演.3. Consolidation and extension(拓展延伸)请学生拿出事先画好的地图两人或四人为一组,以一问一答的形式描述地图上的位置。

教师请个别小组展示对话。

It’s Italian restaurant.教师领读单词: pizza, Italian restaurant2.Presentation and practice(精讲点拨) Let’s talk(1)教师出示地图,说:”Now, I want to have some pizza, I want to go to the Italian restaurant.How can I getthere?”让学生先画出路线,然后教师引导学生表述路线:Turn left at the ... .Then turn right at the .... 再请同学来说说他们的路线。

(2)朗读课文对话,分角色完成对话。

或小组内朗读表演对话。

3. Consolidation and extension(拓展延伸)(1)教师课件出示兰州市或安宁区的地图,请学生小组内完成对话。

How can I get to the ...? Turn ... at the .... Then turn ... at the...(2)教师用单词卡片在黑板上拼一个地图,先让学生自己说一说路线,然后请一个学生通过抽卡选出他的出发地和目的地,并进行描述,在他描述的同时。

请其他同学通过描述画出路线。

第四课时教学目标:1.能够听说读写单词:crossing , turn ,left , straight ,right .2.能够听说读写短语:turn left , turn right , go straight3.能够运用所学句型和地图当一个小导游。

教学重点:掌握四会单词或短语:crossing ,turn left , turn right , go straight. 教学难点:单词straight的拼写及发音。

教学过程:Step 1 : Warm up1.教师发指令,学生做动作。

2. 教师出示一张本市区的平面图,引导学生根据图画内容进行问答。

引导学生根据路线编对话并进行演示。

Step 2 :Presentation Let’s learn1.教师展示let’s learn 部分的挂图,说:look at the sign . we can see it in the crossing .教师展示十字路口的图片,板书单词crossing ,提醒学生在十字路口要注意交通安全。

用拆分发分解教读单词:crossing 。

2. 教师指着图片中左转的图标,一边做左转弯动作,一边说:turn left.教师板书短语,并贴上图片。

3. 教师指着图片中右转的图标,问:What does it mean ? 学生回答:Turn right .教师板书短语,并贴上图片。

4. 教师指导学生看直走图标,说:go straight。

教师首先自己示范,一边做动作一边说句子。

教师板书并教读短语,贴上图片,注意straight的发音,引导学生观察口型,可用拆分法和慢速快速法,strai-ght。

然后教师发指令,学生做动作,最后师生一起一边发指令一边做动作。

5. 教师播放Let’s learn部分的录音,让学生能够认读单词和对话,然后教师示范书写。

分角色朗读对话:Where is the Italian restaurant ? Turn right here ? No , turn left . 最后替换关键词,(地点和方向)自由操练对话。

Be a tour guide1. 师生进行日常对话。

2. 教师用多媒体课件展示该部分挂图,适当讲解地图中常见的图标,并分别展示三个旅游景点图片,学生六人一组,模拟导游带队旅游的情景,进行分组练习。

Step 3 :Practice1. 游戏Simon says2. 蒙眼插图游戏。

3. 教师将学生分成六人一组,每组选一名队长,给组内成员发指令,根据每个小组全体学生的表现评选出最佳模范组。

Step 4 :consolidation and extension1. 讲Let’s learn 部分的内容读给家长听。

2. 给父母当小导游,介绍一个旅游景点板书设计:Unit 1 how can I get there ?crossing turn left turn right go straight第五课时教学目标:1. 能够完成read and write 部分的练习,并能理解、朗读课文内容。

2. 能够了解地图、指南针、GPS、星星在指引地点方向上的作用。

3. 能够掌握句子在发音上的语调技巧。

4. 能够独立完成let’s check 和let’s wrap it up部分的练习。

教学重点:能阅读课文,正确完成相应练习。

教学难点:能复述故事,掌握发音语调技巧。

教学过程:Step 1 : warm-up1. 教师出示卡片,学生边说单词边做动作。

2. 教师播放音乐,从一位学生开始说指令:turn left turn right go straight3. 教师出示地点图片,学生大声说出相应的单词。

Step 2 : presentationRead and write1. 教师问:What can help us find a place ? 学生回答:星星、指南针、地图等。
