提高中职生英语职场应用能力探析——以英语技能大赛职场应用环节为例

为此，嘉兴市教育局自2012年以来每年组织全市职业学校举办英语技能比赛，通过“在线测试”“职场应用”“职场应用”“职业风采”四个环节，对参赛学生的英语技能进行考核测评，以不断提高学生的英语综合应用能力。
比赛期间，笔者指导参赛的学生表现出色，多次获得了全市理工类前三名的好成绩。
在本文中，笔者选取“职场应用”这一环节，按照“发现问题、分析问题、解决问题”的思路，就如何提高中职学生在具体职业场景中的英语交流能力进行探究性分析，并有针对性地提出具体的教学策略。
一、什么是英语“职场应用”嘉兴市教育局组织举办的英语技能比赛中设置的“职场应用”环节设定两个阶段由两名学生参赛。
第一阶段：在备赛区，限时30分钟，两名选手随机抽取任务单，并用英语沟通和协作完成并提交任务单。
第二阶段：在赛场，选手A 按用英语向评委陈述任务单内容及其完成情况（限时3分钟），选手B 回答与任务单相关的评委的现场提问（限时2分钟）。
此环节要求参赛学生能够用英语正确完成任务单，自然流畅，观点明确，条理清晰地阐述任务单中体现的职业意义；能够正确理解裁判提问，回答有理 有据。
二、英语“职场应用”存在的主要困难笔者在指导学生参赛的过程中发现，中职学生存在以下四个问题。
1.英语听力基础薄弱，影响了语言表达的准确性和完整性听力在英语听、说、读、写技能中排在首位，是英语口语表达的基础。
听力的掌握程度直接影响着口语表达能力能否提升。
尽管近年来职业教育越来越重视学生的英语听力教学，但是不少学生的英语听力仍然薄弱。
笔者在指导学生参加英语技能比赛时，发现这一状况较为突出，具体表现为学生听不懂评委提出的问题。

中职英语技能竞赛辅导要点探析 ---以职场运用为例摘要：本文针对中职英语技能竞赛辅导的现状，以中职英语技能竞赛职场运用为例，对中职英语技能竞赛培训要点进行反思，旨在探索在“以赛促学，以赛促教，赛教融合”宗旨下如何组织培训并有效提高学生英语运用能力。
关键词：中职英语；技能竞赛；培训方法1.引言近年来，中职英语技能竞赛一直开展得红红火火。
“以赛促学，以赛促教，赛教融合”一直是技能竞赛的宗旨。
技能竞赛所取得的成绩，不仅检验着各所中职学校的办学效果，也促进各中职学校不断改进教法和提高教学质量。
然而，对于如何指导竞赛，不少年轻指导老师感到非常迷茫。
笔者在职校多年从事英语教学和技能竞赛指导培训工作，取得了一定的成绩，和同行们在此方面也多次进行探讨，积累了一定的经验。
本文就竞赛规程解读、选手选拔、培训计划等方面进行阐述，探讨技能竞赛培训要点。
1.解读竞赛规程，找准培训切入点参加任何竞赛，不论是学生竞赛还是教师竞赛，第一步就是认真解读竞赛规程，这是必不可少的环节。
首先，要知道“比什么”。
以中职英语技能竞赛的职场运用为例，该任务是：参赛选手共同完成一个职业场景中的任务，如制定工作方案或工作流程等，选手A就任务的结果向评委做一份口头报告，而选手B则回答与任务有关的问题。
通过职场运用比赛任务可以知道，职场运用考察的是学生合作交流的能力，英语口语表达能力和听力理解能力，以及对信息的分析筛选和归纳整合能力。
那么，在培训的时候，就可以有针对性地对学生这方面的能力进行训练。
其次，要确定“怎么比”。
职场运用的比赛流程如下：第一环节是在备赛区进行，选手抽取到任务后，在规定时间内（30 分钟）对所给任务信息进行分析、筛选，通过分工协作，按任务单要求分步骤完成该任务并提交任务解决方案（如工作流程单、方案表格等）；在第二环节中，选手 A 在 3 分钟内向评委陈述任务完成情况，选手 B 在 2 分钟内回答评委就任务提出的 2 个问题（包括评委提问时间）。
