Unit 5 I’m watching TV教材分析:本单元是七年级英语Go for it ( 下 ) Unit 5。

主要围绕“What are you doing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动,并以这一主题引出现在进行时的一般疑问句,否定句以及特殊疑问句等语言功能。

本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。

watch 是及物动词,意为“观看”、“注视”,指长时间地看某一活动中的场面,如看电视、比赛等。

eg:Let’s go and watch the volleyball match. 咱们去看排球赛吧。

The students are watching television in the classroom. 学生们正在教室里看电视。

注意:表示“看电影/戏”,应该说see a film/play。

2. “What’s he doing?”“He’s reading.”“他正在干什么?”“他正在看书。

”⑴What’s he doing?是现在进行时的特殊疑问句,问某人正在干什么。

其句式为“What+be+主语+doing?”。

⑵He’s reading.是现在进行时的句子,其谓语是由“be+v.-ing”构成的,be要与主语保持人称和数的一致,表示主语正在做的动作。

eg:“What are you doing?”“I’m doing my homework.”“你正在干什么?”“我正在做家庭作业。

”3. Do you want to go to the movies? 你想去看电影吗?go to 后跟表示“活动”的名词时,表示“去参加某项活动”。

eg:They go to the movies every Saturday evening. 他们每个星期六晚上都去看电影。

Will you go to the talk? 你去听报告吗?Let’s go to the meeting. 咱们去开会吧。

4. That sounds good. 那听起来不错。

sound 是系动词,意为“听起来”,后跟形容词或名词作表语。

类似的系动词还有look “看起来”,feel“感觉”,turn“变得”,taste“品尝”,smell“嗅,闻”等。
