Interpretation
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. It’s my great honor and pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you.
I have been ready to begin this representation with five parts. Analysis of the teaching material, the teaching objectives, the important and difficult points, the studying methods, and the teaching procedure.
Part 1 Teaching Material
The content of my lesson is New Senior English for China Book Module 6. This is a review lesson about the whole unit.
Part 2 Teaching Objectives
According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus, and after studying the teaching material, the teaching objectives are the followings:
1. Instructional objectives: at the end of this lesson;
(1)The Ss can master the usage of the important words and expressions.
(2)The Ss can use the strong adjectives and attributive clauses in proper situation. 2.Personal objectives;
(1) To develop the Ss’ abilities of speaking and writing.
(2) To let Ss learn some effective review strategies.
3.Emotional objectives;
(1)By completing these tasks, I can help the Ss set up self-confidence in speaking
out English.
(2)In the competion, developing the students’cooperative spirits in group
competitions.
Part 3 the Focal and Difficult Points
Both the focal and difficult points are the strong adjectives and the attributive clause.
Part 4 Teaching Methods
As is known to us all, a good teaching method requires that the teacher should help Ss develop good sense of the English language. For achieving these teaching aims, I will use the following methods according to the modern social communication teaching theories .

In this class, I will divide the whole class into two groups, that is, group A and group B. Group A and Group B change their turns to participate in the competition. However, if group A can’t give the exact answer, group B can catch the opportunity to speak out its answer. If the group gives the correct answer, then I am going to give the group an drawn apple on the blackboard. The group which has more apples will be the winner.
Activity 1. Match game.
In this part, I will present my students a piece of PPT of matching the adjectives and strong adjectives. It is like this:
Then, I will choose 5 students from group A and group B match the adjectives and strong adjectives one by one. For each student who gives the right answer, I will give his group an apple.
Activity 2. Blank-filling.
For this game, I will give the key words in this unit and some sentences to be filled to my students. Their task is to fill the blanks exactly. I would like to give the right to each group to choose its 3 representatives to give the answers. I will certainly add one apple for each correct reply. Here are the key words and sentences to be filled a ctivity3 Situational activity----being a tour guide.
In this activity, a situation will be set to give my students the opportunity to experience the authentic English language. Here comes the situation. An American tourist would like to pay a visit to Chongqing,and he’d like to have a tourist guide to give him some brief introduction of those scenic spots and extradinary things in Chongqing. At first, I may do an example for them. I can share with them my brief introduction of the city of Chongqing by using the attributive clause. Next, I’ll let my students suppose they are the guides, and here are several items for them to choose from. Behind each item, there is a famous thing of Chongqing for him or her to introduce. My request is that they have to use attributive clause in their one or two sentences introduction. Of course, for each correct answer, I will give the group an apple. The items are like this;
Homework;
Since the World Garden Expo is now hotly held in Chongqing. I am going to ask my students to give some recommendation of it within 120 words. Also, I will remind them that the attributive clause can be a wonderful choice in the recommendation.
