1. 结合语境,趣味明义。
学生在阅读绘本时,难免会遇到生词或难点语段。
然而有些教师过于强调学生对语言知识的机械操练以及语段的反复推敲,从而让学生丧失了阅读之乐,从原本的“悦读”变为“苦读”。
而在本课中,教师对生词的处理自然得当,生动有趣。
学生通过在“Let’s bet”打赌游戏中和教师互动,答对就可以赢得糖果,不仅激发了学生的学习热情,将课堂推上了第一个高潮,更重要的是在玩乐中不知不觉理解了“bet”的含义及用法。
对于生词fable的教学,教师不仅借助图片直观性地呈现其意义,更用英英解释的方式让学生明白fable这个单词。
2.观察封面,了解信息。
部分教师往往急于带领学生进入文本学习,而忽略了绘本的封面。
绘本中往往配有大量的配图和少量的文字,图片承载了非常多的非文本信息。
通常情况下,学生通过观察封面,基本上可以获知故事的主要角色和发生背景。
另外,封面上通常还会有该绘本的出处和作者信息。
教师通过积极的引导,可以培养学生良好的绘本阅读习惯。
二、阅读中之互动碰撞小学英语绘本中出现的语言往往简短精练,但句子重复率之高让学生在学习过程中容易产生厌倦感。
如何在一堂课中让不断复现的简单语句焕发出新的生命力,需要教师下一番功夫。
教师带领学生进入文本学习可以进行一些大胆尝试:1.通过读图,鼓励学生大胆预测。
教师通过引导学生读图,说:The pig said “You are very tall.”,并提问学生: What did the camel say? Guess! 让学生基于图片所提供的信息和故事背景大胆预测骆驼可能会说的话,从而激发学生的学习兴趣和想象力,并培养学生的思维能力。
类似的设问还有:The camel said, “I’ll bet you my hump it’s better to be tall.” Whatwould the pig say?阅读是学生接受学习语言信息的重要渠道之一。
