【学生活动】学生回答问题。
a. 再带着问题听一遍课文并试着给以上问题找出答案,在回答过程中要注意学生的发音,及时纠正其错误发音。
b.再播放录音,请学生边听边看书,找出课文中的生词与词组,并根据上下文猜测他们的意思。
c. 为学生简单介绍一下本课的文化背景:在西方,人们通常通过举办party庆祝生日,过生日的人邀请自己的亲朋好友前来与自己共同庆祝生日。
他们会表演节目,做游戏,吹蜡烛,吃蛋糕,并为过生日的人送上生日礼物。
d.把学生找出的生词写在黑板上,为学生示范发音,给学生讲解词义。
播放录音,请学生模仿单词的发音。
采用小组开火车,大组齐读,个别抽读等方式掌握与巩固单词。
e. 讲解课文中的重难点:
①通过做动作帮助学生理解“falling”的意思。
把一本书从桌子上碰到地上,然后对学生说:“The book is falling.”
②以同样的方式帮助学生理解“flying away”的意思。
③请学生注意“Sorry,I can’t ”和“I can help you. ”等与提供帮助相关的表达方式.
f.教师领读,学生大声朗读、背诵、划重点词句等形式对课文进行巩固与练习。
(四)表演与提升。
课文图片依次呈现,学生分组首先看图说话,自由讨论图中的一切内容,请三名同学上前根据书上提供的场景表演活动,然后将全班分成三人一组表演对话,巩固本课所学的课文内容。
教学反思
本节课通过充分激发学生的学习兴趣和好奇心,引导学生主动地学习英语知识,在英语情境中学习语言,在对话中提升,逐步培养学生学英语用英语的能力。
学生学得轻松,容易掌握所学知识。
