序数词
表示事物的顺序的数次,它的作用相当于名词或者形容词,可作主语、宾语、定语和表语。
1) 序数词的表达法:
C. 整十的序数词是把对应的基数词的最后一个字母y变为ie,再加-th。 e.g. twenty- twentieth; thirty- thirtieth
D. 表示“几十几”大的基数词变成序数词是,只将个位数变为序数词,十位数不变 e.g. 第31: thirty- first;

一般在数词后面加th four → fourth six→sixth一二三,特殊记词尾字母t,d,done, two, three特殊变first,second,third八去t,九去e eight去掉t,nine去掉e eight → eighth nine → ninthve要用f替。

five和twelve的ve要变成ffive→ fifth twelve→ twelfthty把y变为i ,th前面要加e。

以ty结尾的要把y变成i,th前要加上一个eThirty →thirtieth forty→ fortieth几十几,别死记,十位部分基数词,个位部分序数词。

twenty-two,变为序数词时,只需将two变为序数词secondtwenty-two→twenty-secondthirty-five→thirty-fifth2. 名词所有格表示―……的‖。

其变法如下:(1).一般情况下在名词后加上’s。

如: Tom’s , Kate’s , Gina’s ,Mr Smith’s , his father’s , her mother’s my sister’s(2).以s 结尾的在名词后加上' 。

如: the students’ ,our classmates’ ,the desks’,the children’s , the women’s(3)当两者或两者以上的人共同拥有某人或某物时,只需将后一个变为名词所有格即可。

如:Tom and Jim's teacher(4)当两者或两者以上的人各自拥有不同的人或物时,都要变为名词所有格。

如:Lucy's and Lily's brothers 露西的哥哥和莉莉的哥哥3. 学习时间的表达法:(1)某年、某月前用in 如:in 1999, in 2002, in March , in October(2)具体的一天前用on 如:on April 1st, on December 9th(3)星期前也用on 如:on Monday , on Tuesday(4)在早上、晚上、下午用in the 如:in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening (5)中午、午夜用at 如:at noon 在中午,at night 在夜晚4 问答时间(1)-When is your birthday ? 你的生日是什么时候?-It’s on November 11th . 我的生日是十一月十一日。

【语法专项】:序数词和名词所有格的用法一、序数词序数词是表示顺序的数词。

序数词前常加定冠词the。

序数词的词形变化及其缩写形式:1.第1,2,3是独立的特殊形式,first 1st;second 2nd;third 3rd2.从4到19的序数词,是在相应的基数词的词尾加th,特别注意第五、第八、第九、第十二;fourth 4th;fifth 5th;sixth 6th,seventh 7th;eighth 8th;ninth 9th;tenth 10th;eleventh 11th;twelfth 12th3.20到90这些整十的数词,其相应的基数词都是以ty结尾,序数词一般是把基数词词尾的y变成ie,再加th。

twentieth 20th;thirtieth 30th;fortieth 40th;fiftieth 50th;sixtieth 60th;seventieth 70th;eightieth 80th;ninetieth 90th4.其余的两位数,只需将其相应基数词的个位改成序数词。

twentyfirst 21st;thirty-fourth 34th;sixtyninth 69th;ninetythird 93rd巧记基数词变为序数词:一、二、三要牢记,其余后面加th。

th里边有例外,你要格外记明白。

八去t,九去e,ve要用f替。

几十变y为ie,跟着再加th。

几十几只变个位数。

序数词表顺序,一般要加定冠词。

二、名词的所有格在汉语中,我们常用“的”表示某物归谁所有。

如:老师的书;丽萍的尺子等。

英语中的这种所属关系就是名词所有格,相当于汉语中的“的”。

所有格的类型:1.“'s”所有格有生命物体的名词以及表示时间、距离、国家、城市等的名词常用“'s”所有格。

It's twenty minutes' walk.步行二十分钟的路程。

有以下几种加's的情况:a.单数名词后直接加“'s”。
