Valentines day
MB: Little bear. What beautiful valentines you´ve made.
L: Thank you, mother bear. I´m going to deliver them to my friends now.
MB: Don´t forget to check the mailbox to see if we´ve got some valentines today.
L: Oh, I will check it now.
L: Mother bear, look.
MB: It´s a valentine for you.
L: For me? What does it say? Can you read it to me?
MB: It says, would you be my valentine?
L: It´s beautiful. But who is it from?
MB: Oh, it doesn´t say. You must have a secret admirer.
L: A secret admirer?
MB: Someone who thinks you are very special.
L: Oh, I know, it must be from Emily.
MB: It could be. Why don´t you go and see?
E: Hi, little bear. Happy valentines day.
L: This is for you.
E: Thank you, little bear. I won´t forget who this one is from.
L: Thanks for your Valentine, Emily.
E: But I haven´t given it to you yet.
L: You haven´t?
E: No.
L: Who did this? Didn´t you make me this?
E: No, but I wish I did. It´s very pretty.
L: But if you didn´t make it, who did?
E: I say someone who likes lace. I know, it´s hen.
L: Oh yes, hen loves lacy things. Thank you for the valentine, Emily. Happy valentines day. E: Happy valentines day, little bear.
L: Hello, hen. Happy valentines day.
H: Happy valentines day to you too, little bear.
L: Do you want your valentine now?
H: Oh, it´s lovely, thank you. This deserves to be in a special place.
H: Don´t touch the cookies, they are still a little hot.
L: En, they smell delicious.
H: I make everyone a cookie valentine this year.
L: Me too?
H: Of course.
L: But if you make me a cookie, who made me this?
H: Well, there is no name on it. You have to guess. It´s like a game.
L: It must be from someone who loves to play games.
H and L: Duck!
L: I´ll go and see her next.
H: Don´t forget your cookie.
L: Thank you, hen. And happy valentines day.
H: Good bye, little bear.
L: Duck, duck, I love your valentine.
D: You do?
L: At first, I thought it was from Emily, and then hen, but then I knew it has to be from you. D: It´s from me!
L: How did you make it?
D: Well, first I picked a leaf that looked like a heart, then I took some mud, and I stepped on it. L: But…..
D: Here, read it! It says, dear Valentine, I love you more than mud.
L: Thank you, duck, and this is for you.
D: Thank you, little bear. It looks like somebody I know.
L: Yes, it´s me.
D: It looks just like you. Oh, that´s a beautiful valentine.
L: I know. It´s from my secret admirer.
D: Your secret admirer? Who´s that?
L: I don´t know. Someone put it in my mailbox.
D: And they didn´t tell you? Somebody likes to play tricks.
L: You are right, duck. It´s from somebody who loves to play tricks.
D: Sounds like owl to me.
L: Owl? I guess it could be owl. Thanks duck, happy valentines day.
D: Happy valentines day.
O: Of course I didn´t make that. I prefer to put a poem in my valentines. Here is yours.
L: Thank you. Can you read it for me, owl?
O: It says: Roses are red, violets are blue, brown is brown, and so are you. Happy valentines day. L: Thank you, owl.
O: Do you like it?
L: Oh, I do. Very much.
O: Then what´s wrong?
L: I can´t figure out who sent me this valentine.
O: Let me see. Lovely lace, beautiful penmanship, and look at how neatly it´s glued, whoever makes it, loves you very much.
L: Will you be my valentinee? I know who it is.
O: I don´t suppose there is a valentinee in that basket for me?
L: Yes, owl, of course, there is.
O: Thank you.
L: Thank you owl, and happy valentines day.
L: Mother bear, mother bear.
MB: Hello, little bear.
L:Look at all the valentines I got.
MB: Oh, they are lovely. Did you find your secret admirer?
L: No.
MB: I wonder who it could be.
L: Well, it´s someone who loves lace, and likes to play games, and is very tricky, and loves me a lot.
