英语辩论英文作文1. Well, I totally disagree with the idea that money can buy happiness. I mean, sure, money can buy you things that make you happy in the moment, but real happiness comes from experiences, relationships, and personal fulfillment.2. It's like, you can have all the money in the world, but if you're not surrounded by people who love and support you, what's the point? Happiness is about connection and feeling like you belong, not about how much cash you havein the bank.3. Plus, think about all the rich and famous people who are constantly in the media for their personal problems and unhappiness. Clearly, money didn't buy them happiness. It's about so much more than just material wealth.4. And let's not forget that some of the happiest people in the world are those who have very little in terms of material possessions. They find joy in simple things andhave strong communities to lean on. Money has nothing to do with their happiness.5. In the end, I think it's pretty clear that money and happiness are not directly related. Sure, financialstability can relieve stress and provide opportunities, but true happiness comes from within and from the people and experiences that fill our lives, not from the size of our bank account.。
英语辩论赛辩论稿优秀7篇

英语辩论赛辩论稿优秀7篇英语辩论赛辩论稿篇一Good evening,Ladies and gentlemen.According to the law, every single individual is born with the right to keep living. Since death is just a part of life, to suggest that it is a right is to grant that it is a freedom to decide when and where to give up this kind of right. In a manner of speaking, it is a man;s right to commit suicide.Again, we can find in the OXFord Advanced Learner;s English-Chinese dictionary the explanation of suicide----the act of killing oneself intentionally----which indicates that suicide is simply a libertarian movement for human freedom and the right of making choices. It is the law;s duty to protect human;s freedom and the right of making choices. While it is without doubt that suicide, in reality, is human;s right, there main argument remain:1,Maybe some people will say that the primary purpose of human being is to live, so suicide is inhumane and totally against the standard of ethic;2,Suicide is criminal offense because it involves the killing of a person;3,The people who commits suicide is irrespondsable to those who love him, even if it is a physical and mental realse to himself. However, an evidence to sustain the first argument is difficult to obtain. It is common sense to note that Modern medicine has its own limitation and can not cure all the existing diseases. In spite of the extraordinary progress made in Modern medicine, problems remain in terms of guaranteeing that all the pains due to illness can be reduced to a tolerant level. As a result of this, at least in the near future, there must be some illnesses which can not be treated, some pains which are uncontrollable, some people who are terminally ill. Maybe the primary purpose of an ordinary and healthy human being is to live, but what if the person we are talking about is a terminally ill patient whose remaining time is no more than a series of suffering . Neither the law nor medical ethics requires everything be done to keep a person alive. However, insistnece, against the patient;s wishes, that death be postponed by every means available is contrary to law and practice. It would also be cruel and inhumane. There comes a time when continued attempts to cure are not compassionate, wise or medically sound. That;s where only euthanasia can be of use. Voluntary euthanasia, which is another form of suicide, is human, because it brings mental and physical release to the patient and his family and helps to put an ultimate end to the torment of a termnally ill patient by hastening his death when he has no prospect of recovering. Extending an incurably sick patient;s life means the same as aggravating the pain . It is unnecessory to maintain life artificially beyond the point when people will never regain consciousness. Because effort should not be made to perpetuate what has become a meanless existence.Others may argue that suicide is criminal offense because it involves the killing of a person。

辩论稿(全部英语)1.正方一辩:Are interpersonal relationship more important than one’s practical ability to a successful career?Dear Mr President, Friends of the other debate, my friends: Hello everybody! As is known to all , The 21st century is the century of talents’outbreak. It is a highly competitive age. but if you want to obtain a successful career, it relys on not only the practical ability of outstanding individuals, but also good relationships. Therefore, our view is that relationship is more important than the practical ability for a successful career. Here we described the following four aspects.First, as the development of the times, everyone should be raised to their real ability, but the single person's capacity is limited. A person's success, 85% attributed to his personal connections. Seemingly fortune to come, in fact, mostly the result of hard work, contacts.Second, we live in a certain social group among the people. A person's survival and development are inseparable from interaction with others. Chinese saying goes: at home by their parents, go out to rely on friends. If a person can properly handle the relationship,he can overcome many difficulties.Third, Fowler said that the closet friend is better than deposits in business. With good relationships, we can be better in many areas and create more wealth.Fourth, as a college student, every day we live in the campus, to deeply realize that here is a small community. Even if a person with a greater capacity, he can not organize an event all by himself.A recent survey showed that fifteen percent of success is contributed by a person’s professional knowledge.85 percents rely on personal relationships. In summary, we must insist that relationship is more important than the practical ability for a successful career.2.反方一辩:Respect other friends, chairman of the divides, each friend: hello!Today's opportunity to come to grips with so many friends and this undoubtedly superior personal quality and ability is a promotion of opportunity. We think that an individual career success, personal ability is more important than relationships. We think: an individual career success, by strength, no strength, interpersonal and how? Strength by himself, interpersonal relations also rely on yourself. Interpersonal relationship just for one person to provide a ready a shortcut to success.Admittedly, personal ability and interpersonal is successful two prerequisite, and today we is exploring the among them successful process in which the crucial: first, from philosophical Angle, the development of internal is things root causes, determines the nature of things and the direction of development, external cause is things develop external conditions. Individual struggle is the internal cause and external cause interpersonal relationship is, therefore, own struggle is the key to success; In the second place, from success successful process to see, we first need to determine target, so as to choose direction and type, again through his own personal struggle, with their own quality and ability the enhancement, to expand interpersonal relationship, using interpersonal relationships, achieve their work and the perfect combination of externalWe all know, interpersonal relationship is again good, have no ability to also won't succeed. Only watched his repeated failure. On the premise of a fine winged capacity. Gold shine is the gold itself became! We think: interpersonal influence to be successful, it is like a good journey, the journey to walk, inevitable energy, wind, but if there is no firm to reach objective decision and overcome difficulties of perseverance and hard sweat, is impossible to reach the shore. Downwind or downwind or as long as we firmly steppingto the goal, we will definitely be able to arrive.Look at the great is how successful it, that is the gold and the individual effort, interpersonal relationship is a result of people, if their don't strive for, no ability to fight for, interpersonal relations will not come himself, and waiting for is only pulp. Only oneself to have true ability really ability to overcome everything. To sum up, we think that an individual career success personal ability is more important than relationships.3.反方二辩提问(一辩):Would I ask the first debater a question : Just in your account, you said that 85% person make success with interpersonal relationship, where did the data come from? And even if I don’t challenged this data, Edison had said: "genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.” Isn't the personal ability so important?4.正方一辩回答:As the debate ,ninties perspiration plus one inspiration was a success, a person is required to pay 99 sweat, but the team of ten people only should spend 50 sweats and 50 inspirations to gain the success,Everybady can find which relationship is better meet the efficiency of modern society demands? It is clear that good relationships will be more than infinitely expand your horizons, so you do not have to take so many detours.5.反方二辩提问(三辩):Would I ask the third debater a question : Your statement said: students should pay more attention to build relationships in the school. So I want to ask you whether the study is not important? Obviously, the study is very important, and It is just one’s practical ability.6.正方三辩回答:7.正方四辩补充发言:Also known as interpersonal relationships, isa basic concept of sociology, its meaning is between people, the process of interaction, through the thoughts, feelings, behavior of the mutual exchange and interaction generated. People as social animals, even with a more tenacious survival skills, from social interaction, and can not have more development, because he is a man in combat. We are a group of people in the struggle.8.正方二辩提问(一辩):Would I ask the first debater a question : if you think what a CEO needs most is a practical ability, so why will he hear so much about interpersonal relationship lecture?9.反方一辩回答:They attend the lecture interpersonal relationship is in order to increase the ability of individuals with their own personal ability of interpersonal relations to succeed in his career, rather than using interpersonal relationship.10.正方二辩提问(三辩):Would I ask the third debater a question: practical ability is IQ and interpersonal relationship is EQ, successcome from 20% of IQ and 80% of EQ, what do you think of it? 11.反方三辩回答:myfellowdebater,youmustbemisunderstandwhatisinterpersonalrelat ionship.youshouldhaveputinterpersonalrealatersonalrealationshipe quatestoEQ.it’sobviouslywrong.Bsides,myfellowdebater,haven’tyo uheardofEdison’ssayings:99%perspirationplus1%inspirationequals success?Ithinkmyfellowdebaterdidn’tunderstandwhatisinterperson alreationship?12.反方四辩补充发言:13.反方二辩小结:Each person is in his own success way, or shallow point in the way of job and work, we will face more challenges, we may have a good interpersonal relationship, we may be introduced to find a good job by friend, but when we truly work, we have no our workmate admitted, we also have no ability to truly achieve the company's demand, so in the end ,we will face ousted, we also have no the so-called success. If interpersonal relationship is important, I think interpersonal relationship also belongs to a part of one’s practical ability, So one’s practical ability is very important.14.正方二辩小结:Interpersonal relationship is a very good platform to improve one’s practical ability, people can learn more from this platform, in order to improve their ability. In modern society, peoplelive in groups all over the world. If you do not have interpersonal relationship, others will not know your ability . Such as advertising, no matter how good the commodity is, if others do not know that, and don't use it, the commodity will be a waste product. For another example, if a CEO only have ability but can not deal with various kinds of business relationship, this company will close down. No matter how strong one’s practical ability is, he could not separate himself from the whole society and exists, and he must learn to work with others to be successful, as 80% of EQ lead to success. Practical ability would not make you starve to death in the society, but the relationship can make a better life for you.15.正方一辩:Interpersonal communication is the important to college students’interpersonal growth and success .Also,it is an important way of exchanging the information and acquiring knowledge in modern society. 英文辩论模板作文1. In my opinion, technology has greatly improved our lives. We now have access to information at our fingertips, which allows us to learn and grow in ways that were not possible before. Additionally, technology has made communication easier and more efficient, allowing us to connect with people from all over the world.2. On the other hand, technology can also have negative effects on our lives. For example, the constant use of smartphones and social media can lead to addiction and isolation. People may become so consumed with their virtual lives that they neglect their real-life relationships and experiences. Moreover, the reliance on technology for tasks such as calculations and spell-checking can make us less independent and reliant on our own abilities.3. Another point to consider is the impact of technology on employment. While technology has created new job opportunities, it has also led to the automation ofmany tasks, resulting in job loss for many individuals. This can lead to increased inequality and economic instability.4. However, it is important to note that technology is constantly evolving and improving. With advancements in artificial intelligence and robotics, there is the potential for technology to solve some of the world's biggest challenges, such as climate change and healthcare. Technology has the power to revolutionize industries and improve efficiency in ways that were unimaginable before.5. Nevertheless, we must also be cautious of the ethical implications of technology. It is crucial to embrace technology while also being mindful of its potential drawbacks and ensuring its responsible use.。
对于学习英语好坏都英语辩论会 英语作文

对于学习英语好坏都英语辩论会英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Learning English: A DebateHi everyone! Today I'm going to share my thoughts on learning English. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Well, I think there are arguments on both sides. The Case FOR Learning EnglishFirst of all, English is like the language of the whole world! So many people speak it. If you know English, you can talk to people from tons of different countries. That's really cool! Imagine making friends from England, America, Australia, and all sorts of places. With English you can!English is also really important for getting jobs and making money when you're older. Most of the big companies and corporations use English as their main language for business. If you want an awesome career someday, speaking English will give you a big advantage over people who don't know it.Another reason English is great is because of all the books, movies, TV shows, video games, and music that's in English. You can understand so much more of the entertainment from around the world when you learn English. That means you get to enjoy way more stories and songs and fun stuff! How boring would it be if you could only appreciate things made in your own language?Plus, English can actually help make you smarter! Studies show that learning another language helps kids do better with math, reading, vocabulary, and other important skills. It makes your brain have to work harder which makes you smarter overall. So learning English is like a brain workout! The Case AGAINST Learning EnglishOn the other hand, learning English is really, really hard and frustrating sometimes. All those crazy spelling rules and weird pronunciations are enough to make your head spin! Why can't the language just make sense instead of being so weirdly inconsistent and confusing? It takes a ton of time, effort, and practice to get good at English. You have to study vocabulary lists, do grammar exercises, watch movies and shows, read books, and basically immerse yourself in it for years and years before you becomefluent. That's a huge commitment, especially for kids who already have so much schoolwork in their regular classes.Another big downside is feeling self-conscious when speaking English. It can be super embarrassing and awkward when you're trying to speak a new language and you make mistakes or say things wrong in front of others. Some kids get made fun of for mixing up words or having an accent, which is just mean but can sadly happen. That fear of messing up could hold you back from really learning well. Finally, some people worry that if kids get too into learning English, they may start losing touch with their own native language and cultural traditions. There's already so much English media and pop culture everywhere that some fear kids will just totally forget about their roots and abandon their heritage. That could be a big loss.My ThoughtsSo those are some of the main arguments on both sides of this debate. Personally, I can see the value in learning English but I also understand why it's seriously difficult and has some downsides.I think at the end of the day, being bilingual or even multilingual by knowing English plus other languages is a great skill and can open up so many opportunities in life. But it's also really important to stay connected to your native culture and language too.The way I see it, learning English is hard work but super worth it - as long as you don't let it make you lose touch with where you came from. It's all about keeping that balance of being proud of your roots while also expanding your horizons through new languages.English or not, what's most important is being respectful to all cultures, staying curious about the world around you, and never stopping your own learning journey! Those are just my thoughts, but I'd love to hear what the rest of you think about this topic. Thanks for reading my essay!篇2Learning English - A Big Kid DebateHi everyone! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I'm going to share my thoughts on learning English. Some kids think it's really good to learn English, but others think it's bad.I've been learning English since I was 6 and I have some strong opinions on this topic!First off, I want to talk about why some kids think learning English is good. The biggest reason is that English is like the language of the world. It's spoken in so many different countries as a main language or a second language. Knowing English can help you communicate with people from all over the globe. That's pretty cool if you ask me!Another big plus of learning English is that you can read more books, watch more movies and TV shows, listen to more music, and play more video games. A lot of that fun stuff is made in English-speaking countries originally. If you know English, you don't have to wait around for translations. You can dive right in and enjoy!Learning English can also open up awesome job opportunities later on. Companies everywhere need people who can speak and write in English to help them do business internationally. Knowing English gives you a superpower skill that can lead to cool careers. But not everyone agrees that learning English is all sunshine and rainbows. Some kids think it's actually bad and can cause problems. Their biggest complaint is that learning English makesit harder to learn your native language really well. They worry that kids will get confused between the two languages and never truly master either one.Another argument is that learning English at a young age can mess with your identity and culture. The critics say that English is the language of big countries that want to take over the world with their customs and way of life. Learning it could make you slowly lose touch with your own traditions.I've also heard people say that the time spent learning English in school is better spent on other more important subjects like math, science, history of your own country, and so on. They think English is taking away time from core subjects. Those are some of the biggest points on both sides of the debate. Now let me tell you what I personally think. In my opinion, learning English is 100% a good thing and has way more pros than cons. I'm so glad my parents started teaching me English from a very young age.For one thing, it's just so incredibly useful to know English these days. Like I mentioned before, it's a global language that lets you connect to people and things all around the world. It opens up so many doors and opportunities that would otherwisebe closed. You're not limited to your own tiny corner of the planet.I can pick up any book, video game, website, or movie and understand what's being said immediately instead of waiting for a translation. That sense of freedom and access is amazing. English is like a key that unlocks the majority of media and entertainment out there. When my family travels abroad, English has been a hugely helpful common language. We can get around, order food, ask for directions, and make friends more easily. Without English, we'd be really lost!At school, having English skills has allowed me to learn so much more than my classmates who only know our local language. I can find way more information online and in books on any topic I'm interested in, like science, history, or animals. That expansive knowledge is a gift.Yes, learning English did make it a little trickier when I was first learning to read and write my native language too. But I worked through that temporary hurdle very quickly. Now I'm strong in both languages and having two languages in my brain is like a superpower! As for losing my cultural identity, that's just silly. My parents did an amazing job teaching me about our heritage and traditions from the day I was born. Learning an extra language didn't erase any of that. In fact, knowing English helped me better understand and appreciate my own culture in a way. I had a window into how other people around the world view things. Finally, the argument that English wastes time better spent on other subjects is simply not true. I still did great in math, science, history, and every other class. English is just one more subject in the schedule. It's awesome that my school prioritized giving me a skill that provides me so many valuable opportunities.Well, those are my thoughts after being immersed in English for many years now. At the end of the day, I'm just a kid. But I can definitely say with confidence that learning English has been incredibly positive for me. It connected me to the wider world in amazing ways.If you're a kid who hasn't started learning English yet, I totally recommend you do. Those kids who say it's bad or a waste of time just haven't experienced the magic of English themselves. It brings you so many benefits and lucky chances in life. What's not to love about that?Learning any new language, including English, can be challenging at times. But the rewards are so worth it. You'll end up thankful that you knew English from an early age and could access all these wonderful things because of it. That's been my experience for sure. What do you think - is learning English good or bad? I'd love to hear your perspective too! Let's discuss this more. Thanks for listening to my big kid thoughts today. English rocks!篇3Here's a 2000-word essay in English from the perspective of an elementary school student, arguing for and against learning English:Learning English: The Great Debate!Hi, my name is Alex and I'm a fifth-grader at Sunny Hill Elementary School. Today, I'm going to share my thoughts on whether learning English is a good or bad thing. It's a hot topic among us kids, and we all have different opinions. Let me break it down for you!The Good Side of Learning EnglishIt's the Language of the WorldEnglish is spoken in so many countries around the world. If you know English, you can communicate with people from different cultures and make new friends. Isn't that awesome? My cousin lives in Australia, and we can chat and play games online because we both understand English. It Opens DoorsKnowing English can help you get better jobs when you grow up. Many companies look for people who can speak and write in English. It's like having a superpower that can take you places! My older sister is learning English because she wants to work for an international company one day. It's Fun to LearnEnglish has some really cool words and expressions. Like "couch potato" for someone who loves lounging around and watching TV. How funny is that? Learning English through movies, books, and games is a blast. It's like unlocking a secret code to a whole new world of entertainment. The Bad Side of Learning EnglishIt's ToughEnglish can be really hard, especially when it comes to pronunciation and grammar rules. There are so many exceptionsand weird spellings. Why does "through" have a "gh" in it? It's enough to make your head spin! Sometimes, I get frustrated and want to give up.It Takes TimeLearning a new language takes a lot of time and effort. You have to practice reading, writing, speaking, and listening constantly. That means less time for other fun activities, like playing outside or hanging out with friends. It can be a real drag, especially when you're a kid with a busy schedule. It's Not Always UsefulIf you live in a country where English isn't the primary language, you might not get many chances to use it in your daily life. Why bother learning something you might not need? My friend Luca says he'd rather focus on subjects that are more relevant to our culture and community. The VerdictSo, what's the final say? Is learning English good or bad? Well, it's a bit of both, to be honest. It has its pros and cons, and it really depends on your goals and circumstances. For me, I think learning English is worth it. It's a valuable skill that can open up so many opportunities, from making newfriends to exploring different cultures. Sure, it's challenging, but anything worthwhile takes effort, right? At the same time, I understand why some of my friends might not be as excited about it. If English isn't a big part of your daily life or future plans, it might not seem that important. And that's okay too!In the end, it's up to each person to decide whether learning English is right for them. But no matter what you choose, remember to have fun and don't get too stressed out. Learning should be an adventure, not a chore!Well, those are my two cents on the great English debate. What do you think? I'd love to hear your opinions! Maybe we can practice our English together and explore this fascinating language side by side.篇4Should We Learn English? A Big Kid Debate!Hi friends! Today I want to talk about a super important question - should kids like us learn English or not? Some people say it's a great idea, but others disagree. Let's look at both sides so you can decide for yourself! Why Learning English is AWESOME!You can make friends all over the world! English is spoken in lots of different countries. If you know English, you can chat with kids from the USA, Britain, Australia, and more places too. How cool is that? The more languages you know, the more friends you can make!Tons of great books, movies, TV shows, and websites are in English. Harry Potter, Disney movies, Peppa Pig - so much fun stuff is originally in English. If you learn it, you can enjoy those without having to read translations or subtitles. That makes it way more fun!It can help you get a great job later on. These days, lots of companies want employees who can speak English well. Knowing the language gives you a awesome advantage when looking for work as a grown-up. The better you are at English, the more opportunities you'll have.English makes travel easier and more fun. When you go on vacation to an English-speaking country, you'll be able to read signs, order food, ask for directions, and really experience the culture. It opens up your world! It's a great challenge and skill to learn. Picking up a new language makes your brain grow stronger. The harder you work, the smarter you'll get! Being bilingual is something to be really proud of.Why Learning English is NOT AwesomeIt's super hard and takes a lot of work. Learning a whole new language with funny sounds, confusing spelling rules, and weird grammar is a huge pain. Why put yourself through that when you could just stick to your native language? There's so much pressure to be "perfect" at English. Teachers, parents, and others are always telling you to stop making mistakes. That's stressful! You'll never be as good as native speakers anyway. You can waste a lot of time studying English instead of other useful subjects. Wouldn't you rather spend classroom hours learning science, math, coding, or other skills instead? Those seem way more useful than a foreign language.English isn't even that globally important. Mandarin Chinese has way more native speakers worldwide. Maybe you'd be better off learning that instead of English if you want an international language.Too much focus on English makes kids disconnected from their own culture and language. If all the emphasis is on English abilities, you could end up forgetting your cultural roots and mother tongue. That's sad!So... What's the Right Answer?Wow, there are a lot of great points on both sides of this debate! In the end, I think it comes down to your personal goals and situation. If you want to have broader opportunities in life and connect with people worldwide, learning English is an amazing skill. The intellectual benefits alone make it super worthwhile. However, if you prefer to focus solely on your local community and language, then English may not be so crucial. Just make sure you're making that choice for the right reasons, not because you think English is too hard or not valuable enough. Every language is incredibly important.Personally, my vote is YES - let's all learn English! But I'd never pressure someone to do it if they have a genuine reason for skipping it. As long as you're constantly working to expand your knowledge and skills in some way, that's the main thing. What does everyone else think? I'd love to hear your views! Let's discuss this more...篇5The Great English DebateHi, my name is Jessica and I'm in 5th grade. Our teacher Mrs. Roberts assigned us a really cool debate topic - is learning English a good thing or a bad thing? She split the class into two teams and I'm the captain of the "English is Good" team. My friend Michael is the captain of the "English is Bad" team. We had to come up with arguments for our sides and then present them in a big debate. Here's how it went down:English is Good Team ArgumentsLearning English opens up opportunities around the world. If you know English, you can communicate with people from so many different countries. You can travel easier, get jobs in other places, watch movies and read books from everywhere. The world feels a lot smaller when you speak the universal language.English is really useful online. Pretty much every website, app, game, and technological thing has at least some English. If you don't know English at all, it's hard to navigate computers andphones. Most of the coding languages use English words too. Knowing English is almost required to use technology properly.English is fun and cool! English songs, books, and movies are popular all over the globe. If we don't learn English, we'll miss out on lots of great entertainment and culture. English just sounds neat with its fun slang and expressions. It's a creative language that's easy to make puns and jokes in.In our globalizing world, English is becoming more and more essential for all types of careers. Scientists share research in English, businesspeople make deals in English, diplomats negotiate in English. No matter what job you want, having English skills increases your chances of success tremendously.English is Bad Team ArgumentsLearning English isn't fair to students whose native language isn't English. They have to spend thousands of extra hours just to learn the basics, while students from English-speaking countries can focus on other subjects. It's a systemic disadvantage that's hard to overcome.Prioritizing English means local languages and cultures get devalued and lose significance over time. There's a rich tapestryof traditions, arts, and wisdom getting steamrolled by English's global domination. We're losing precious diversity. Why should we all have to learn the language of countries that historically oppressed and colonized others? By making English the lingua franca, we're reinforcing the cultural superiority mindset of English imperialists. It's a form of soft linguistic conquest.Too much focus on English means students neglect gaining real mastery over their mother tongue. How can you fully appreciate the depth and beauty of your native language's literature and poetry if you're constantly distracted learning an Anglo corporate commodity tongue?Rebuttal Time!Wow, both sides had some really intense arguments! The English is Good team pointed out how useful it is for opportunities, technology, culture - that's all so true. But the English is Bad team made me think hard about things I didn't really consider before, like linguistic inequality and cultural preservation. When it was rebuttal time, things got super heated! The English is Good kids said learning the global language is just anecessity in today's world, not a form of oppression. The English is Bad kids responded that making it a necessity is the oppressive part! We need room for all languages to thrive. My ConclusionHonestly, I can see good points on both sides of this debate. English does open a ton of doors for people in our interconnected world. But focusing too much on it takes away from other languages and cultures that are also super important. If I had to choose, I guess I'd say overall learning English is more good than bad. But we have to be really careful to balance it with preserving diversity and equality for all languages. English is a powerful tool, but it shouldn't be allowed to completely dominate at the expense of other treasures. That was such a fun debate! I can't wait for our next one. Thanks for reading my essay!篇6Learning English is Good and BadHi friends! Today I'm going to talk about learning English. Some kids think it's really cool to learn another language. But other kids think it's just too hard and not worth the trouble. I'vebeen learning English for a few years now, so I can tell you all the good points and bad points about it.The Good Things About Learning EnglishOne awesome thing about English is you can watch so many more TV shows and movies without reading subtitles! Instead of being limited to just shows and movies made in our country, you get access to everything made in English too. That opens up tons of cool action movies, funny comedies, and cartoons that weren't originally made in our language.English also allows you to play way more video games. So many amazing games come from English-speaking countries. If you know English, you can understand the dialogue and follow the stories properly instead of just button-mashing through. It really enhances the whole gaming experience.Plus, knowing English gives you access to so much of the internet! A huge portion of websites and social media is in the English language. If you can read and understand English well, you can learn about almost any topic online and connect with people from all around the world.Speaking English is an incredibly useful skill too. It's one of the most widely spoken languages globally, used for business, travel, diplomacy, and more. Knowing English can land you a better job someday or allow you to work overseas. It expands your opportunities a ton. Finally, learning a second language like English is really great brain exercise! Studies show that bilingual people tend to be smarter, have better memories, and can concentrate more than monolingual people. Mastering another language gives your brain an awesome workout. The Bad Things About Learning EnglishOn the other hand, learning English is definitely not easy. English has crazy spellings, weird grammar rules, and SO MANY exceptions and irregularities. Words like "cough" and "dough" make no sense! There are also way too many little vocabulary quirks, like how you "make the bed" but "do the dishes." Very confusing.Another issue is that English can be a pretty illogical language. The phrase "hot dog" has nothing to do with dogs or their temperatures. You park in a driveway but drive on a parkway?? Those just aren't cricket to me.Most English learners also really struggle with pronunciation. Words spelled the same way can have different sounds, like"tough" and "bough." Words spelled differently can somehow sound the same, like "pear" and "pair." And good luck figuring out where to stress syllables - you just have to memorize each word individually. It's maddening! If that's not enough, English has absorbed vocabulary from many other languages over time. That means tons of words have completely different roots and origins, making it even harder to learn systematically. You basically have to memorize definitions one-by-one for countless words. Finally, learning English is a huge time commitment. You have to study vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, speaking - every single component of the language. When you already have loads of homework, tests, and activities, sacrificing that much free time to English can feel brutal. My Overall ThoughtsSo those are some of the biggest pros and cons of learning English from my perspective. Ultimately, I'm glad I stuck with it because English opens up so many awesome opportunities for media, gaming, traveling, and my future career. But boy, has it been a roller coaster at times! English is crazy difficult in so many ways.If you're considering taking up English yourself, I'd say go for it - but only if you're ready for a serious challenge. It's incredibly useful but also incredibly demanding. Maybe give yourself a few years to get properly proficient. If you stay motivated and work hard, English can be an amazing skill. If you're lazy about it, you'll likely struggle and give up.Those are just my thoughts as a kid who's been through the English wringer! Let me know what you all think. Is learning English worth the hassle or not? I'm curious to hear everyone's perspective! Thanks for reading my essay!。
英语口语辩论“是个人还是社会成就一个人的人生”

Whether the person himself or thesociety decides a person’s fateFor 1: A person is a man with emotion, intelligence and the ability to think, learn and decide, a person is a man who is able to know and choose what is best for himself. Consciously or not, by weighing and balancing both external factors and internal factors, he makes choices of his own. He chooses his friends, his religion, his lifestyle, his career, his life value and the life he wants to live. While he’s making these choices, his FATE gradually comes into being. Therefore, in our opinion, a person’s fate is decided by himself.Against 1: FATE is something unpredictable, it is the outcome of a person which is influenced by both internal and external factors, but mainly external factors, or rather, the society he’s in. A society is a community that one cannot change with his own power, and if one refuses to change himself as the society develops, there’s a huge possibility that the person won’t be able to live an good life. According to us, a person is a social animal. He is deeply connected with his immediate circumstances which will decide the way he make decisions. Therefore, a person’s fate is decided by the society. For 2: Indeed, a person’s immediate circumstances, or rather, the soci ety will decide the way he makes decisions, but how can you explain this—we are all born in the same society, how come we have got different fates? The only explanation is that we ourselves are different. The relationship between individual and the society is like seeds and soil. Given the same kind of soil, a seed of a flower will not grow into a tree. That’s because the determining reason lies in the seed itself.Against 2: Since you mentioned about the metaphor of seed and soil, I’d like to quote an old Chinese saying: If you grow oranges in the north, you can merely get small, bitter, malnourished fruit; but if it’s in the south, you can get big, juicy oranges. The difference of the soil decides the different fates of the same kind of oranges. This shows that it is the SOCIETY that decides a person’s fate. Not to mention that your metaphor is improper in the first place—a seed of a flower will not grow into a tree, just like an infant with the genes of a girl will not be born as a boy!For 3: We never deny the influence of the society on a person, but these influences don’t decide a fate. Suppose a ship sailing in the ocean confronts a stormy night, despite the imminently dangerous circumstances, a brilliant, experienced captain may still help the ship go through the disaster. The quality and personalities of the captain decides the fate that he can finish his mission.A man has subjectivenes. He could control his own life; make it develop in the way he consciously wants. A person with a strong will never bow to a however bad circumstances. He will fight, strive and create his own fate!Against 3: Sure enough, a man’s subjectiveness is rather important when it comes to a person’s fate. However, society orients everything. The law of the society development restricts a person’s fate. A man’s conduct must follow the need of the society, which means the society determines a man’s action, a man’s fate.Take Yuan Shih-kai as an example, he became one of the most powerful person in the Ching Empire, which shows that he’s a man of ability and strong will. However, at the times of the Republic of China, he made every effort to turn the Republic back to Empire, his effort was sort of in vain, and he was considered to be a bad guy afterworld. Why is that? Because what he did contradicts the development of the society. For 4: A man is the subject of a conduct, with his own will and power, he can change external factors, namely, the society, to make himself succeed or fail. The destiny of Yuan Shih-kai shows this point fairly well. His failure was caused by his greed for more power. His greed covers his eyes, preventing him from observing the tendency of the society and the public opinions. From this perspective, it is HIM who decided his own failure.Against 4: But how can you deny the trend of the society is the crucial factor of a person’s fate? Men are weak, but the society is strong. We are living in 21st century; the age of information, under no circumstances will we be able to prevent ourselves from the influences of computers. We admit that a man’s subjective initiative could change his life condition, but no one could avoid the rush of the society’s tide. You can do nothing but to adapt. Those who refuse to follow will be washed out; those who follow will survive; as for those who predicts where the society goes to, will eventually succeed.。

英语口语辩论文章集团文件发布号:(9816-UATWW-MWUB-WUNN-INNUL-DQQTY-Whether Peopl e Can Conquer Nature(Debate of script )Introduction----4.6 billion years ago, there has existed a beautiful planet—Earth. After 4.6 billion years’ evolution, what is the current situation on the earth, especially greatly influenced by human being. And now there is a wide spread concern over the issue that whether people can conquer nature. And today our group is going to begin a debate under the topic of whether people can conquer nature.First----It’s the time for group members to demonstrate their own standpoint(各自自我介绍并表明阵营positive/negative)正方: I’ m xxx. And I stand in the positive position—people can conquer nature.反方: I’ m xxx. And I stand in the negative position—people can’t conquer nature.Second----It’s time for both sides to make a brief statement based on their own viewpoint(先正方,后反方)正方:Nowadays, there is a view that today's ecological problems are the result of human conquering nature, and the activities of the human conquering nature is dominated by a kind of wrong view, namely "the opposition between man and nature, put them as a hostile relations, advocate people to conquer nature.Transformation is an important practice activity of human nature, to transform nature, first to explore the nature, human beings in the process of exploring nature, will meet with difficulties and hardships, will encounter setbacks and failures, and must be in frustration and failure again andagain to conquer these difficulties, overcome difficulties isto conquer difficulties, only in this way can reveal thesecrets of nature and the law. Therefore, explore contains the conquest of nature in natural ingredients, or rather, conquering nature is an important part and content to explore natureHuman exploring nature and conquering nature is totransform nature and the purpose of which is held in thenatural law, the nature and use, control, control and managethe nature, let nature heard the command, for the service of humanity. Therefore, without exploring nature and conquernature is impossible to change nature. Change nature mustexplore nature and conquer nature, conquering nature is to explore one aspect of the nature and transform the natural orone of its content, let's put the conquering nature called it flexible or weak sex meaning, so, conquering nature and its rigidity or strong meaning反方:Conquer nature means the destruction of nature. In the past hundred years, there have been frequent natural disasters, such as floods, droughts干旱, mud-rock flows, sea waves, earthquakes, windstorms and the stretching of new deserts. The disastershave killed millions upon millions of people, destroyedcountless homes, and wiped out numerous pieces of fertile land. Now more and more people become aware that thosedisasters have much to do with what we have done to the earth. We have cut down too many trees in the forests, we have badly polluted the environment, we have shocked our own home-planet time and again with tremendously powerful explosions of nuclear bombs. As a result, climates have become abnormal, rainwaterrushes down hillsides angrily, and the underground energy goes up to revenge itself on us. The earth is our only home-planet.It is urgent for us to stop damaging it, in other words, stop conquering nature. What we should do is try our best to protect it and make it a lovely place suitable to live in, for we have nowhere to go and survive except where we are now. Third, please both sides players start free debate.正方:Conquering nature is both a great feats of human, and people of the importance of perseverance. All kinds of natural exploration activities is a sign of conquering nature, such as carrying out the space program carrying out genetic engineering, the construction of large hydropower station and so on.In addition, challenging yourself, challenging natural adventure is also an expression of the conquering nature. Adventure activities should not only have strong willpower and determination to conquer nature, and robust physical and decisive action. Adventure and exploration, though different purposes, some similar in nature, that said, adventure activities, like exploration, also will encounter unexpected difficulties and obstacles, suffered setbacks, and even failures, it comes at a cost to the exploration activity.反方:Only to obey nature in order to overcome nature. – Darwin had said. There is no doubt that human activity has an effect on the planet. We see the evidence of mankind’s endeavors努力尽力 all around us. Overall全面考虑, it seems that human activity harms the Earth more than benefits it makes. Because over developmentand over destruction to nature. there is limited land beingset aside留出 for other species.Absolutely, we should reserve so me land for the world’s animals. Biological diversity is very important. If one species disappear, we cannot predict what the effect will be. Therefore, we should treat such creatures as a valuable resource to be protected. To sum up, the world’s endangered species are an important resource and we should protect them by setting aside some land for them. Although mankind’s need for land continues to grow, people are intelligent and inventive enough to put the land into use properly. In this way, we can have enough landfor farming, housing and industry, and preserve thebiodiversity of the planet at the same time. However, if people are determined to conquer nature, could trigger more natural disasters, and the human will only come undoneSummary ----At present, there are a variety of the relationship between human with nature, both to protect and treat the nature, and to use, control, domination and control the nature, the multiple relationship between human with nature is done by the practiceof the people, that said, in the human practice, all kinds of relationship between human with nature to show. Conquer nature has its scientific meaning, and it is only one kind of relationship of man with nature, also, it contributes to humans’ development. But on the other side, people shouldlearn to protect natural and more in harmony with nature. That’s all---thank you。
