初中英语口语测试的重要性
【摘要】随着社会的发展，世界WTO的形成，国际间交流合作越来越广泛。英语已成为当今国际间所通用的流行性的语言。作为一门语言,学习它的最终目的是为了应用，因此英语口语交际显得越来越重要。然而，由于我国应试教育的影响，学校教育只重视学生对语言的理解、对语法词汇的掌握,而忽略了口语能力的培养，导致目前学校教育所培养出的许多人在口语表达能力上远不如读写来得快。为了从根本上改变我国中学英语教学现状，大面积提高中学英语教学质量，把英语口语测试带入课堂，对提高英语教学水平至关重要。
【关键词】英语口语教学质量
英语是基础教育阶段的重要学科之一。多年来，国家投入了大量的人力、物力和财力进行英语教育。但是,英语教育的结果却是很不理想，尤其是初中英语教学的效果更是不容乐观,两极分化现象十分严重，导致英语教学整体水平低下。究其原因，一方面，大多数教师的教育观念、教学方法、教学能力与外语水平等还跟不上社会发展的需要。很多英语教师以知识为本，特别注重讲解传授，还属于封闭型的传统教学模式。另一方面，虽然我国目前的教育改革取得了一定的成效，但是许多体制还不够完善。考试仍然作为选拔人才的依据。因此，大多数教师受“为应试而教”的影响，教学上重笔头，轻听说。把英语仅当作知识来传授，只重分数，忽视英语口语能力的培养。这样，极大地影响了学生口语能力的培养，缺乏口语练习的机会。扼杀了学生学习英语的兴趣，使其英语的学习和应用能力大打折扣。
要想从根本上改变中学生英语口语水平低下的状况，就要改革当前的英语考试模式，加强师资培训工作和教学科研工作，建立促进学生全面发展的评价体系。评价不仅要关注学生的学业成绩，而且要发现和发展学生多方面的潜能，了解学生发展中的需求，帮助学生认识自我，建立自信，并通过评价教育功能的发挥，促进学生在原有水平上的发展。
一、初中英语口语测试的理论依据
根据《英语课程标准》，在基础教育阶段应当加强学生口语表达能力，听说领先，读写跟上。说有赖于听读，听说有助于读写，写又可以巩固听说和读。此外，教科书不只是要求学生单纯地、机械地重复语言，而是给学生提供机会结合实际运用语言，开展听说读写活动，以便把书中的词语、句型变成自己的语言机制的组成部分。这样，学生的语言技能才能发展成为运用语言进行交际的能力，并运用自己有限的语言去应付无法预知的情况；才能通过听读来吸取信息，敢于开口交谈，传递信息，并通过听说来加速阅读，推动书面表达，交流信息。所以，无论从语言的发展、学习语言的自然规律还是从用语言交际所采取的形式来看，说的能力的培养在语言教学与研究中都显得特别重要。
二、初中英语口语测试的必要性

二、听力口语自动化考试如何组织 根据省教育厅统一部署，2009年起，全省中考英语听力口语自动化考试由省教育厅统一组织，统一命制试题、统一考点设置、统一考试时间、统一考试流程、统一评分标准、统一发布成绩。 三、听力口语自动化考试考点和考场如何设置 人机对话考试对考点的要求比较高。省教育厅要求原则上以各初中学校为考点，以各学校的计算机网络机房为考场，考场计算机及相关软硬件配置均须符合考试所要求的基本条件，不符合要求的必须在升级、补充到位的基础上才能申报考点。从目前申报情况看，我市大多数初中学校已符合考场设置条件，全市大多数初中毕业生都可在本校参加听力口语自动化考试。少数不符合考场设置条件学校的学生由各地教育行政部门统一安排到就近的考点参加考试。 四、一个考场内同时有30人进行听力口语考试，会不会互相干扰 按照考场设置要求，一个考场内设置不少于33台考试机和1台监考机，每个考场同时安排30人进行考试。考试所用耳麦和话筒都是特制的，考生只能听到考试机播放的声音，话筒也只对定向的声音录音，完全不影响考试效果。
