学生通常都是在考前练习几篇写作题目，或者背诵范文。
目前，英语师生人数比例失衡严重，学生多，英语老师少，再加上老师的教务、科研等工作，英语作文经常面临老师布置习题，但难以有效大量批改的问题。
进一步导致学生英语写作水平较差，作文均分不及格。
近几年实施的新高考英语改革提升了英语作文分数，增加了作文篇数，强调对学生应用能力的培养，作文分值由原来的15-25分提升到35-40分。
在大部分高校，写作是公共英语课程主要考核方式之一。
英语写作在英语教学和考试中越来越重要，提升英语写作水平对提升学生英语综合能力的重要性不言而喻。
二、批改网是什么批改网是一款能够提供即时反馈的英语作文智能批改系统批改网是一款智能批改英语作文的在线服务系统，能够有效提高教师的批改工作效率，提高学生的英语写作能力。
对于学生而言，批改网能够在1秒内对作文给出分数、图1：英语作文在批改网批改后的反馈评语和按句点评的反馈。
该系统拥有192个以上的评分维度，通过机器学习可以使用测试环境下的评分要求，并且给予庞大的标准语料库，对学生文中包括中式英文在内的语言问题进行精准判断，并给出修改反馈。
批改原理批改网是由北京词网科技有限公司完全自主研发的英文作文智能批改系统，其核心功能为英语作文智能评分与点评，使用到的核心技术有自然语言处理（NLP，Natural Language Processing）技术、深度学习技术、云计算技术等。
其中批改网是NLP 技术的典型应用，大量综合应用词性标注、句法分析、自然语言生成、文本分类、信息检索、信息抽取、文字蕴含等对应的处理技术和研究成果。
批改功能的批改原理为将用户提交的学习者语料用数据处理后和标准语料数据（母语用户语言资源库）进行比对分析，测量出两者之间的“距离”数据。
然后用一定的分析规则将“距离”映射转化为用户可理解的分数、总评语、按句评语等反馈内容。
映射转化时则依据的是192个语言分析维度。
所以从直观上讲，一篇作文距离标准语料库越远，分数越低，反之则分数越高，如图2所示。
批改网系统体系结构批改网系统主要分为5大模块，分别为：作文分析模块、对比模块、打分模块、数据挖掘模块和知识运维库模块，具体如下：作文分析模块:主要对作文进行整体的分析，分析内容包括词汇、词块、搭配、句型等内容；对比模块：根据作文分析模块分析到的内容，调用知识运维库里相应的数据与作文内容进行对比，找出作文存在的亮点及不足点，并给出相应提示；打分模块：系统在对作文进行分析对比后，会根据教师设置的打分权重对作文进行打分；数据挖掘统计模块:数据挖掘统计模块主要是统计系统对作文的分析结果，并对分析结果进行整理，生成详细的图文报表；88图2：批改网打分原理89知识运维库模块：主要为系统对比模块运行提供数据支持。
用户可以将自己的经验提交到知识库里，系统会自动将其记录并用于作文对比，用户提供的数据越多，提供的分析反馈就越详细，学生获得的知识也就越多。
按句点评及中式英文识别技术能够即时给出文章全面的按句点评反馈是批改网一个重要的技术创新点，批改网采用大数据分析、深度学习等技术对大量的学习者语料数据和标注语料数据进行对比分析，得出一个可实时更新且记录的语言粒度更细、规模更大，并可以识别由于文化差异造成的语言用法问题（如中式英文）的知识库（错误库）。
在批改网中用户提交的待分析文章被标注处理后，批改引擎会先根据知识库（错误库）中记录的各种语言分析规则点分析文中语言特点，并自动生成各种情况的反馈内容，最终形成文章批改后的按句点评内容，而每一篇被分析过的学习者文章也会最终进入学习者语料库，进一步丰富学习者语料库。

图4展示了学生在批改网上提交作文的实时动态：批改网能够即时批改学生作业，并通过时间轴的方式记录学习者的成长轨迹，以某位学生的一篇作文为例，经过150次的修改，该学生的作文分数从30分提升到73.5分。

四、批改网使用案例分析批改网多元评价技术：清华大学张文霞教授的“五步作文法”清华大学外文系张文霞教授在英语写作与现代化教育技术相融合的教学研究方面进行了有效的理论和实践探讨。
她是清华大学最早将批改网引入本科英语写作教学的老师，特别是引入了人机共评的多维度、多模态写作评价模式实践，取得了良好的教学效果。

英语作文智能批改，这功能吸引的人到底是谁呢？猿辅导旗下的搜题应用小猿搜题最近测试上线的一项新功能，叫做“英语作文智能批改”。
它把人工智能技术用在了手写作文识别和英语作文的批改上。
目前这个功能还处在灰度测试中，我们最近去体验了下这个智能批改功能。
在我们的实际体验中，这个新功能在识别手写作文的速度很快。
在测试之前，我自己用钢笔手抄的作文片段。
在拍照完成后，它能在三秒左右的时间内就将手写的文字识别了出来。
现场测试视频片段不过对于部分被划去的文字的识别，它仍然存在遗漏或识别错误的地方。
比如文中第一段的第二个单词“ you ” ，由于文字比较模糊，在扫描过程中系统并没有识别出来。
文中第二段第一句中被划掉的单词“ this ”仍被识别显示了出来，在系统处理后的文章里出现了两次。
抄写的作文片段扫描作文后生成的作文页面在提交批改后，它能识别出一些简单的错误，比如在文中我错误的使用了“student”的单复数形式，它在文中准确的标注了出来。
标注错误的页面截图不过在语法搭配的识别上，它的准确率还不是很高。
在抄写的作文片段中，我故意留下了一些明显的错误搭配，比如在文中第一段第七行我将“more and more”错误得写成了“many and many”，但提交系统批改后，它并没有标注出这样的错误。
标注错误的页面截图目前小猿搜题主要针对国内 K12 的中小学教育市场，新出的英语智能批改系统的打分机制也是根据高考英语作文考试的大纲定的。
猿辅导研究部总监邓澍军告诉《好奇心日报（）》，根据猿辅导此前在 K12 教育这个领域的数据积累，他们可以统计出一些中小学生在写作文时的常见错误分布情况，优化识别错误的算法。
包括常见错误搭配、Chinglish、词汇的错误使用等。
实际上智能批改已经不是一个新鲜事了，美国教育考试服务中心（ETS）在 1999 年首次开始采用智能批改系统，它也被应用到托福考试的评分过程中，并在 2008 年被引入到 GRE 作文的评分过程中，作为复查人工打分质量的辅助系统。
