让学生在特定的语境内领悟和使用，进行有意义的交际，以此达到语言教学的真正目的。
三、教学目标：（一）知识与技能目标1、能够听、说、认读单词”warm/cold/cool/hot”;2、能够说唱”Let’s chant”。
（二）方法与过程目标：1、能够在情景中运用句型”It’s ……in……”介绍不同地方的气候特征;2、能够运用”phonic”自然拼读法对简单单词进行拼读。
（三）情感态度与价值观目标：培养学生关心日常天气，并对日常天气情况进行描述的能力。
四、教学重难点：1、听、说、认读单词：warm/cold/cool/hot；并运用”phonic”自然拼读法对这些单词进行拼读；2、熟练运用句型”It’s ……in……”介绍不同地方的气候特征;五、教具准备：本课时的教学单词卡片、多媒体课件。
六、教学步骤：Step 1 、Warm-up1、Greetings：与学生互动问好，复习旧知识，旧句型。
