Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life. Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal college life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

1Ladies and gentlemenThe scenic spot we are going to visit today is Huangguoshu waterfall. Huangguoshu waterfall is the first waterfall in China and one of the most famous waterfalls in the world. In November 1982, Huangguoshu waterfall was approved by the State Council of the people's Republic of China as a national key scenic spot.Huangguoshu waterfall is 137 kilometers away from Guiyang City, the provincial capital. It is located on Baishui River, a tributary of Dabang River, which borders Zhenning County and Guanling County in western Guizhou Province. It takes about an hour and a half to get to Huangguoshu by bus from Guiyang.Huangguoshu waterfall has arrived. You see, this is the most famous waterfall in China.Huangguoshu waterfall is 68 meters high, and the upper waterfall is 6 meters, with a total height of 74 meters and a width of 81 meters; Due to the strong impact of the current, the splashed water mist can diffuse for more than hundreds of meters, so that the stockade and markets on the top of the cliff on the left side of the waterfall are often covered by the splashed water mist. Visitors call it "silver rain sprinkles Golden Street". When the water is small in winter and spring, the waterfall will bedivided into three or five strands and hung down from the top of the bank. From a distance, the white curtain of water will float down like silk, fairy's face and lady's raccoon. For hundreds of years, the majestic appearance of Huangguoshu waterfall has been marveled by many scholars. In the Qing Dynasty, Yan yinliang, a famous calligrapher in Guizhou Province and the author of the three titles of the summer palace, wrote a couplet in the "wangshui Pavilion": "white water is like cotton, it doesn't need to bow and bounce to disperse. The magnificent scenery of Huangguoshu waterfall is vividly summarized. Now we come to Rhinoceros Pool, where the waterfall falls. This pool is named after the legend that there is a rhinoceros hidden under the water. No one has ever seen a rhinoceros, but the mystery of the pool is still deep. Anyone who stops by the pool will think about it. If it's 10 am or 4 pm on a sunny day, due to the refraction of the sun, you can also see the seven color rainbow rising from the deep pool through the rain and fog splashed by the impact of the waterfall, which makes you feel majestic and gorgeous. Why is this waterfall called Huangguoshu waterfall instead of other waterfalls? According to folklore, there is a tall Huangjue tree beside the waterfall. According to the local accent, "Jue" and "Guo" have the same pronunciation, so people are used to call it Huangguoshu. This is a kind of saying. There is another saying. It is said that long ago, farmers near the waterfall liked to grow yellow fruits. There was a large yellow orchard beside the waterfall, so the waterfall was called Huangguoshu waterfall.Compared with other famous waterfalls in the world, Huangguoshu waterfall is not as wide, deep and magnificent as Victoria waterfall in Africa, niagara waterfall in North America andanher waterfall in Venezuela. However, Huangguoshu waterfall has its own peculiarities. It is the most popular and spectacular waterfall in karst areas in the world. This waterfall is like a strange magnet. It has a series of magnificent sceneries on the ground, underground, water and water. One of the most magical places is the cliff corridor cave hidden half of the waterfall. Because of the climbing of vines outside the cave and the Pearl curtain hanging on the water, it is called "water curtain cave". This is a unique sight that no other waterfall in the world has.Ladies and gentlemen, "water curtain cave" has arrived. The water curtain cave is 134 meters long and consists of six windows, three Gudong springs and six passageways. This is the scene of Shuiliandong in the large-scale TV series journey to the West adapted from Chinese mythology. This is the first cave window, which is the lowest, only 40 meters away from the water surface of Rhinoceros Pool, but the cave window is the widest, more than 10 meters wide, located in the middle of the first and second waterfalls. When the water is heavy, the two waterfalls connect to form a curtain to seal all the cave windows; when the water is small, it opens again and again, ranging from a few meters to more than 10 meters. Min likes a curtain that can be opened and closed at will. This is the second window. It's only about 4 meters away from the first window. This is a quiet world, known as crystal palace. It is the heart of the water curtain cave, 11 meters long, 9 meters high and 3 meters wide. There is a spring beside the road, clear and clean, and the water level is kept at the same level for a long time. There are many stalactites hanging on the top of the cave, and there are valuable curly stones on the straw stalactites. There are countless stone curtains and stone curtains hanging onthe wall of the cave. This is the third hole window. It protrudes outwards, much like a balcony. The window is 1 meter high and 3 meters long. There is a guardrail outside. Visitors can reach for the waterfall when standing behind the guardrail, so people call it "touch the waterfall platform".Ladies and gentlemen, now we are going to visit the Rhinoceros Pool canyon. You see, from the waist down of the rhinoceros, there are successive drops, which are Rhinoceros Pool, sandaotan, horseshoe beach, youyujing and so on. Among these pools, the Rhinoceros Pool, which is 17.7 meters deep, is the first one. It is often covered by splashes and submerged by fog. As long as there is sunshine, there are colorful rainbows hanging on the splashing beads of the waterfall, moving with people and unpredictable. Why is Huangguoshu waterfall like this? This is because Huangguoshu waterfall is located in karst area, which is caused by the erosion of water flow. When the traceable erosion point reaches the upstream, the river water scours, dissolves, erodes and abrades along the karst fissure, and the pipeline expands gradually, forming the cave and underground river; after the local surface river is injected into the cave, the proportion of water volume increases gradually, forming a unique attack in the karst area, and at the place where the open flow is injected into the cave, a cave waterfall is formed. With the increasing erosion and strategic collapse, the underground river caves become larger and larger, so a series of vertical shafts and skylights are developed along the dry valley of the surface. They are expanding, merging and collapsing, resulting in the magnificent Huangguoshu waterfall and the deep and steep canyondownstream of the waterfall.I hope you will hold up your camera, take a picture of Huangguoshu waterfall, keep it in your memory and publicize it to more people, because Huangguoshu waterfall belongs to China and the world at the same time.贵州英语导游词2Tourists, no matter which city you come from, every city will have some common places, such as rush hour, smoke from big chimneys, river pollution, food safety concerns, continuous noise at night, constant temperature of office air conditioning; our city residents are like fighting machines, bearing the pressure and helplessness of city life every day. We gradually lose the feeling of getting along with nature unconsciously. So many friends hope to go to a pure place, looking for some of the ancients simple life fun. As a result, ancient towns, small towns and villages have become temporary paradise for our tired body and mind. Many friends choose to go to Tibet, because there are holy snow mountains and mysterious customs. However, the long journey, high altitude reaction and high cost may delay our plan for the time being. But at this time, you came to Guizhou, I said: This is your wise choice!First of all, you don't have to worry about the thin air and cold climate, because we all feel the mild and humid climate here. The pure air makes breathing a kind of enjoyment. Although there is no endless snow mountain, it is full of verdant forests. If you want to experience the rich customs of ethnic minorities, you can get it everywhere in our mountains, rivers, restaurants and windows.Referring to the 17 ethnic minorities living in Guizhou, Iwould like to ask you which ethnic groups you know? (after listening to the tourists' answers, add: Miao, Dong, Buyi, Shui, Yi, Gelao, Zhuang, Yao, Tujia, man, Bai, Hui, she, Mongolia, Maonan, Qiang, Mulao)You may not have thought that in Bijie and Dafang areas of Northwest Guizhou, there are Mongolian and Manchu nomads who can live here. In fact, the most representative Miao people in Guizhou came here more than __ years ago. As I have said before, Guizhou is a province composed of political parties of all ages, and the Miao compatriots can be said to be the earliest political parties in Guizhou.Miao is an ancient nationality, which originated from the "Jiuli" tribe in the Yellow Emperor Period more than 5000 years ago. At that time, "Jiuli" lived in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River. In the war with Huangdi tribe, Huangdi and Yandi United. Chiyou, the leader of Jiuli, was captured and killed by Huangdi. The rest of the tribe retreated to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, forming "Sanmiao" tribe and establishing Sanmiao state.Four thousand years ago, the northern Chinese tribes headed by Yao, Shun and Yu fought against the "Sanmiao" again and again; finally, the state of Sanmiao was destroyed by Xiayu. Some of them were expelled to southern Sichuan, Northeast Yunnan, Northwest Guizhou and other places, forming the Miao nationality with Western dialect; some of them were integrated with Chinese; the other part was called "Nanman" in Shang and Zhou Dynasties; because they lived in the middle reaches of Han River, they were called "Jingchu barbarians". Later, the advanced part of Jingchu barbarians gradually developed into Chu nationality and established Chu state, while the backward partcontinued to move to Hunan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Hubei and other mountainous areas, most of which stayed in Southeast Guizhou and developed into Miao compatriots living in the depth of Miaoling in Guizhou Province.According to the fifth census, there are 8.9 million Miao people in China, and more than 70% of them live in Guizhou. Over the past few years, our Han compatriots have been converging and developing into a modern society, without any traces of ancient ancestors. The trace of slash and burn cultivation has been preserved by this group of Miao people in the mountains of Guizhou. The Miao culture has a long history, and its strong cultural charm is reflected from the Miao family's clothing, food, housing and transportation, song and dance entertainment, weddings and funerals.Miao is a hospitable people, toast is the best courtesy Miao people use to entertain guests, so no matter which Miao village you visit, Miao people will use the cup filled with wine to sing a toast song for you. After drinking the Miao rice wine and entering the Miao village, the Miao compatriots will welcome the guests with their thousand year old songs and dances. Among them, wooden drum dance is the most famous in Fanpai village of Taijiang County in Southeast Guizhou. Whenever there are sacrificial activities and festivals, the whole village will dance with wooden drum accompaniment. This dance is bold and full of rhythm, which is called "Oriental disco" by European and American tourists. Most of the songs and dances of Miao people are hip twisting, which is related to their living environment. Miao tribes are basically in the mountains, along the way are mountain paths, and Miao costumes, women are wearing thick skirts, whencarrying items on their shoulders, in order to walk conveniently, they have to carry skirts and twist waist to walk, so their crotch is relatively developed, so dance is mainly to twist crotch. In addition to the colorful long skirt Miao, there are also short skirt Miao. For the convenience of walking, in the short skirt Miao village of Datang Village, Leishan County, Southeastern Guizhou, the super short skirt is not a recent international fashion, but a woman's clothing that has been handed down from generation to generation. They like to wear it as super short skirt, which is very convenient to go up and down the mountain. The short skirt Jinji dance is also a classic dance. Wearing short skirts, the women imitate the brisk pace of the natural golden pheasant in the accompaniment of Lusheng, which is very beautiful. When dancing, the silver ornaments and bells on the body are ringing, full of youthful vitality. originateMiao people have their own language and no culture. Their history and life are often passed on from generation to generation through clothing embroidery patterns and songs. When it comes to our Miao people's singing, it's amazing! We know that song Zuying, a famous Chinese singer, is Miao people, but his family is Guzhang County in Xiangxi, Hunan Province, which is closely connected with Qiandongnan. She has sung the "flying song of the earth" we are very familiar with, flying song is our Miao unique singing form. But why is it called "Feige". This has something to do with where our Miao compatriots live. When we come to the center of Miao people's settlement, the Balahe River Valley, Leishan County, Taijiang county and other places in Southeast Guizhou, we will find that most Miao villages are built on the mountain. It takes a lot of effort to transfer information between villages. In the past, there was no moderncommunication tool, so it took a lot of effort to go up and down the mountain. Smart Miao compatriots found that the intensity of singing is greater than that of speaking, and the transmission is far away, so they use singing to transmit information. Let's think about it. It's like flying when singing in the mountains. So this kind of dynamic and energetic singing form is gradually left behind. Now the Miao's flying songs have gone across the sea. The sweet and high pitched songs of a Youduo, a Miao singer from Guizhou, have been sung in the youth song competition of CCTV, the Golden Hall of Vienna and the concert hall of the United States.Speaking of which, let me dedicate a flying song of our Miao nationality to you. Thank you again for your coming. The singing is not necessarily authentic, just to give you more feelings. Thank you for your encouragement. When we go to the village, we will see the neat farmland and the clear river. The environment of the village is elegant and the layout is reasonable. The clean stone path in the village winds to every household. Miao people need a lot of wood to build houses, but they have a strong sense of sustainable development. Every child is born, they have to plant a forest. Every tree is cut down, they have to get the approval of the whole village. Every village is surrounded by dense forests, and every village will have the largest ancient tree as its patron saint. Miao people live in a house called Diaojiaolou, which is not as solid and closed as Fujian Tulou, nor as slim and transparent as Yunnan bamboo building, but has a kind of simplicity and persistence rooted in mountains. Diaojiaolou is generally built on the hillside, using the local whole fir log support structure, the support is combined by wood wedge, without nails. Then the wooden groove is carved on thebracket, and the wooden plate is used as the wall. In the past, the roof was made of fir bark, but now it is made of small green tiles. This kind of Miao folk house is generally built with three floors. The bottom floor is used to pile up sundries and feed livestock; the second floor is used for the living of the owner; and above the third floor is the roof for stacking grain. On the second floor, there is a place similar to the balcony, which is the place where our Miao girls communicate with the outside world. It's called "meirenrely". When a Miao girl grows up, she will embroider her dowry and sing folk songs while waiting for a lover. There is a fixed festival for young Miao men and women to fall in love - sister meal day. On March 15 of the lunar calendar, unmarried girls go up to the mountain to pick leaves and flowers, which are used to dye red, yellow, white, blue, black and other colors into "colorful glutinous rice". This is sister's rice. The girls set up tables and displayed meals. Several or more people gathered together to warmly receive the young men who came to beg for "sister's dinner". Young men from other places who go to any family to express their congratulations and admiration to the girls and ask for "sister meal" from them can be warmly treated. After dinner, the girl and the young man make an appointment to go to the square or other places in the village to sing love songs and fall in love all night. Through the festival of "sister meal", young men and women can choose their favorite person and form a lifelong partner. Therefore, their marriage is relatively open.If we visit the Miao family for dinner, we may not be used to their special dishes. However, if you can eat the most famous sour soup fish, it is a blessing. Sour soup is fermented by Miao family with rice soup and wild red persimmon. Every family hasprepared it. Fish, of course, are wild fish from the river. Fish in sour soup tastes sour and sweet. The fish is tender and delicious. Then cook some tofu and vegetables. It's appetizing and nutritious. During the meal, when everyone sits around the fire pool, the host will sing a toast song and offer sweet rice wine to the guests, which will make you feel happy and forget to return.贵州英语导游词3One of the nanming district, guiyang city. 介绍贵州英语作文不少于50个单词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Exploring the Enchanting Province of GuizhouAs a student with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, I have been captivated by the allure of Guizhou, a province that seamlessly blends rich cultural heritage with breathtaking natural landscapes. Nestled in the southwestern region of China, this enchanting destination has become an irresistible draw for those seeking to unravel the mysteries of a land steeped in history and untamed beauty.Guizhou's charm lies in its diversity, a tapestry woven from the threads of numerous ethnic minority groups that have called this province home for centuries. The Miao, Dong, Buyi, and Shui peoples, among others, have left an indelible mark on the region's traditions, art, and way of life. As I delve deeper into their customs, I am consistently awestruck by the intricate embroidery adorning their vibrant attire, the haunting melodies of their folk songs, and the architectural marvels that dot the rural landscapes. One of the highlights of my exploration has been the Xijiang Miao Village, a living museum that transports visitors back in time. Nestled amidst lush valleys and towering karst formations, this village is a testament to the resilience and ingenuity of the Miao people. The intricate wooden structures, adorned with intricate carvings and vibrant colors, stand as a testament to their architectural prowess, while the age-old traditions of music, dance, and textile weaving continue to flourish, passed down from generation to generation.Guizhou's natural wonders are equally captivating, leaving me in awe at every turn. The Huangguoshu Waterfall, a thundering cascade of water plunging from a height of nearly 80 meters, is a sight to behold. There are caverns and tunnels that stretch on for miles, adorned with crazy stalactites and stalagmites in all sorts of groovy shapes. Some of the caves are so huge they have entire underground rivers and lakes inside them! My dad took me spelunking (that's cave exploring) once and it was a little scary being deep under the earth like that, but really cool too. We had to wear headlamps and climb over boulders. I felt like a real adventurer! But Guizhou isn't just about the incredible nature. We are also home to many different ethnic minority groups like the Miao, Dong, Bouyi and Shui people. They all have their own fascinating cultures, languages, music, clothing styles and traditions. The Miao people are famous for their incredibly intricate embroidery and silver jewelry-making skills. The Dong build these amaaaaazing wooden houses called Wind and Rain Bridges that don't use any nails or metal at all! Just pieces of wood interlocked together. They are architectural marvels. My best friend Li Ming is from the Dong minority and he invited me to a festival in his village once. Oh my gosh, it was sofun! There was folk singing and dancing, dragon puppet shows, and the most delicious sticky rice snacks. Li Ming's grandma made us these chewy rice balls stuffed with sweet black sesame paste. Yummm my mouth is watering just thinking about it! The Dong people also have their own spoken and written language that uses symbols instead of an alphabet. Li Ming taught me how to write my name in Dong script.Guizhou has a cuisine that is completely unique too. We love to use ingredients you can't find many other places like pickled vegetables, vinegar, fermented rice and tons of fresh herbs and spices. A really popular dish is called niangao, which is a sticky, chewy glutinous rice cake. Sometimes they stuff it with sweet fillings like jujube fruit paste or savory fillings like spicysalt-cured vegetables. You haven't lived until you've tried niangao! Another Guizhou specialty is suan la fen – it's a sour, spicy soup with rice noodles and lots of fresh herbs like cilantro, green onions, chilies and pickled greens. It looks super funky but tastes so good, especially on cold winter days.I could go on and on about all the cool stuff in Guizhou, but I don't want this essay to be a million pages long. I feel so lucky to have grown up experiencing the incredible natural beauty, rich cultural diversity, and unique cuisine of this amazing province.Whenever my classmates talk about going to famous cities like Beijing or Shanghai for vacation, I always tell them "Yeah, those places are cool, but have you been to Guizhou yet?" Because in my humble opinion, Guizhou is the real hidden gem of China just waiting to be discovered and appreciated! I'm proud to call it my home.。

Good afternoon, my dear professors, it is a great honor to have an opportunity for this inturduce.
Guizhou University is the only key university in Guizhou prioritized to develop itself in line with the criteria of the "211 Project" . In November 1951, Mao Zedong, then chairman of the country, inscribed in person the Chinese name of Guizhou University. In August 2004, it was merged again and formed the current new Guizhou University with Guizhou University of Technology.
Now the University has nine campuses in different parts in Guiyang. The administrative center is located in the Northern Campus on the Huaxi River. The University covers a total area of 4498 mu. And the University consists of 24 colleges, containing 101 undergraduate specialties, 5 PhD programs, 80 Master's programs and 5 Master's programs for specialized subjects all are authorized to confer degrees. The disciplines cover 11 branches of learning: philosophy, economics, laws, education, liberal arts, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine and administration.
One of the most famous Professors is the President of our school , Zheng Qiang. He is knowledgeable, hard working, dedicated to the development of Guizhou University. In addition, For the benefit of students,he dares to point out our school problems directly, winning the esteem of college students.
Facing the new opportunities and challenges in the 21st century, Guizhou University is striving to develop itself into a high-lever university with local colors . Our school is in construction, and the library of our school is the most majestic of all. What’s more,A great number of attractive sights are near to my school, the Hong feng Lake (Red Maple Lake), Huaxi Park and an abundance of historical relics of the Ming and Qing dynasties, such as the Jiaxiu Tower, and the Qingyan Ancient Town. The reason I like this school is that Guiyang is one of China's Spring Cities like Kunming .The climate is often mild and moist, neither extremely hot nor very cold. And it’s a good place to live and have a visit.
THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE.。
