英语专业八级考试写作部分测试要求
在专业八级考试中写作项目是全国高校英语专业学生8级考试(TEM8,2004年2月新版)的六大项目之一,它的分值占总分的20%。

这一项为主观试题,只有一个作文题目。

要求考生按题撰文。

这与原来大纲的要求有很大的不同。

修改后的大纲目的更加明确:测试考生能否按照大纲的规定,达到应有的写作水平。

《高校英语专业八级考试大纲》对专业八级英语的写作测试做出了规定:考生应能根据所给题目及要求撰写一篇400个单词左右的说明文或议论文。

与专业四级的写作要求相比,八级的作文长度增加了一倍多,时间为45分钟,而原来大纲的规定时间为60分钟,字数为300个词左右,而且要求语言通顺,用词得体,结构合理,文体恰当,并具有说服力。

该项目要求考生在规定的时间内根据提示写出400字左右的文章。

文章力求做到观点清楚、例证充分、结构严谨,层次清楚、合乎逻辑、语言得体、无重大语法错误。

400个单词左右的文章可以表达相当复杂的内容,考生必须要具备一定的写作训练,否则很难达到测试要求。
