我要说课的内容是冀教版小学英语第五册教材中的Lesson9: Let’s look at a map. 下面，我将主要从说教材、说教法与学法、说教学过程和说教学评价等几个方面来谈谈自己的对这部分课程地认识、看法和设计。
【教材分析】本节课是冀教版小学英语第五册第九课“ Let’s look at a map”。
从少年儿童的年龄特点、学习兴趣和天真、活泼、好奇的求知欲考虑，每个年级的教学内容都是以学生的互动，师生的互动为出发点的。
本单元主要讲的是我们的祖国和几个说英语的国家，而本节课主要是在学生掌握了一定的日常用语，培养学生实际运用语言的能力。
结合新课程标准和大纲提出的基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标和具体要求我将本课教学目标设计如下：【教学目标设计】1．知识目标：会说新单词，掌握新句型，并能熟练运用新句型进行交流。
2．能力目标：培养学生自主学习的能力和利用工具探求新知识的能力；培养学生的创新意识和相互协作意识。
3．情感目标：创设学习情境，激发学生学习的热情和兴趣，提高学生学习的积极性和主动性。
【教学重点和难点】根据本节课的教学内容和学生对知识的理解程度，结合本课的教学目标与学习目标，确定本节课的重点是在交际活动的过程中能听懂会说重点是掌握五个国家的方位，难点为重点句型的实际运用及相关知识的表达。
【教学对象分析】小学生知识形成的特点是：通过亲自动手实践，体验感知，形成表象，构成新知。
学生是独立的个体，有独立的情感体验。
小学阶段英语教学属于基础教育，要努力为学生的终身发展奠定坚实的基础，从而使学生获得可持续发展，使人的主体精神得到自我完善，发展所必需的英语语言能力和文化素质。
