视听说中级课程教学大纲课程英文名称:Video Listening and Speaking Course (2)课程编号:04000352 学分:2.0 学时:32一、课程教学对象《视听说( 中级)》的教学对象是非英语专业(四年制)公共英语类课程二年级上学期的学生。
二、课程性质及教学目的《视听说 中级)》属于高等学校非英语专业的公共基础课。
大学英语教学是实施素质教育的一个重要组成部分。
本课程是大学生必修的一门基础课程。
大学英语教学兼有基础性、科学性和时代性,以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,是以外语教学理论为指导,集多媒体技术、网络技术等多种教学模式为一体的教学体系。
《视听说( 中级)》的教学目的是培养学生英语听说应用能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力、提高综合文化素质。
以适应我国经济发展和国际交流的需要。
《视听说 中级)》是继《视听说 初级》课程的延伸,利用多媒体技术和网络技术,将视、听、说凝集为一体的大学英语立体化的课程。
(《视听说( 中级)》教学突出学生在教学中的主体地位,教师应充分运用各种教学模式和手段,调动学生的学习积极性,使学生想学、会学、乐学。
本课程的教学任务是运用这套视听教材引导并帮助学生了解英美等西方国家人民的生活场景,了解他们的人文风情,自然风貌及科技或经济发展的历史和现状背景,培养学生对跨语言交际的敏感性以及在真实环境下使用语言的灵活性,从而达到“说”英语的产出性能力的实现。
在课堂教学中,应致力于提高学生的语言基础知识、语言运用能力、自主学习能力和文化交际能力。
《视听说( 中级)》要求学生达到能听懂70-80%的英语谈话和讲座,能较好地听懂题材以及篇幅较长的英语广播和电视节目;能用英语就一般性话题进行比较流利的会话,能基本表达内容完整,观点明确,条理清楚,语句通顺的个人意见、情感、观点等。
三、对先修知识的要求学生学习本课程之前,应先修课程(《综合英语二级》,和(《视听说( 初级)》。

国内专门用途英语教材调研分析沈忆文朱梅萍北京外国语大学提要:目前国内出版的ESP 教材基本上跳出了以语法结构和功能为纲的编写思路,遵循“以学习为中心”的教材建设理念来选择教材内容和设计练习,把学习实践放在首位,注重学习者的语言使用过程,培养学生实际使用英语去从事所学专业各种业务活动的能力。
根据不同的教学目标,选择恰当的原汁原味的语言材料,再根据学习者的特征和学习方式等因素,对材料的学习重点和掌握情况提出不同的要求和标准。
在保证语言输入的质量、激发学习者的兴趣和动机方面作了许多有益的探索,并取得较好的效果。
但是,ESP 教材也存在着以下问题:教材定位不明确;目标读者不够细化;教材在专业知识和语言训练方面没有达到有机结合;“任务”活动缺乏实用性和针对性。
总之,目前ESP 教材由于市场的需求量增加而大量出现,质量良莠不齐。
我们认为,教材的编写者应该不断地对教材进行跟踪调查,了解教材的优点和缺点,及时更新内容,修正弱点,弥补教材中的不足,增强教材的适用性。
关键词:ESP 教材、双语教材、专业英语教材、学术英语教材、职业英语教材一、引言专门用途英语(English for Specific Purpose,ESP)是英语语言教学(English Language Teaching,ELT)的一个分支,同时也是应用语言学研究领域的一个热门学科。
刘润清先生早在1996 年就提出英语学习与其他学科的学习相结合的观点,他指出,将来英语学习的一个重大变化可能是不再单单学习英语,而是与其他学科结合起来。
以后的英语教学将越来越多地与某一方面的专业知识相结合,或者说与另一个学科的知识相结合(刘润清1996)。
之后,他再次指出,几年之内,大学英语教师的职业发展方向是走专门用途英语的道路(刘润清2010)。
2004 年,蔡基刚先生也指出,随着我国国际交往的日益扩大和经济全球化、科学技术一体化、文化多元化时代的到来,随着我国大学的进校新生的英语整体水平的提高,专门用途英语教学将是我国大学英语教学的发展方向(蔡基刚2004)。
