It’s Jupiter. The sun looks smaller than the Earth but it’s bigger.二、教学背景江门市蓬江区五邑碧桂园中英文学校是双语式的教学管理模式,学生在英语氛围浓厚的学校从幼儿园开始学习英语,英语基础较好。

此前已经学习了一些形容词的比较级和最高级,对其在英语句子中的用法已有所了解,如:big-bigger-biggest, small-smaller-smallest 等。

这节课主要是让孩子们在学习宇宙太阳系的八大行星的同时,运用形容词的比较级和最高级说出行星的大小,轻重或距离等相关知识。

三、教学目标分析1、知识与技能(1)认读8个新单词和3个新句型,学习形容词比较级和最高级的运用,做到发音准确、清晰;(2)熟练运用新句型与同桌进行相互问答;(3)能够根据多媒体课件和课本自主听读英语短文材料;(4)能够运用互联网自主搜索与课文相关的太空或天文资料,帮助学习课文相关内容。

2、过程与方法(1)能够通过师生说、小组说和自主听读体验交际式英语教学的一般过程,掌握英语听说的基本方法;(2)能够通过小组说和综合说体验协作学习的过程和方法;(3)能够仔细倾听老师和同学的发言,有语言表达和同学交流的愿望;(4)能够通过小组运用互联网搜索完成指定任务,并小组间用英语进行信息交流,完成扩展学习任务。
